i've never heard of the brand opel, i found out bout this car by googling insignia. From the comments i see, this car is supposed to be a sport/luxury class. It looks good on every angle except from front. Its headlight makes it looks like a corolla or so...still a good overall.

opel insignia is a fantastic car....i haven't a clue what 1nes whatever is talking about....it is a performance car that sticks to the road with great handling and very good suspension. In fact the mondeo and insignia probably have the best suspensions in their class...you obviously haven't driven one...this car deserves all the praise it gets..and opel have always been a reliable manafacturer..the astra and corsa are great cars as is the zafira.

Sorry mate but insignias are crap compared to the old Vectras, I drive them all the time as I'm with Enterprise. They always have stiff gears & hit-or-miss biting points, they are far too firm in suspension for a large FWD car. Sri's have electronic steering which pulls to the left, Horrible drive, very uncomfortable to be in. Bring back the Vectras!!!

Maybe its a "good" car, but for sure not a "great" one. In Germany, Opels image is very bad.. You can´t compare Opel with brands like Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Audi or VW, because Opel can´t build comapreable cars. Btw, I´m drivin` a 05 BMW 330i Sedan. However, I´m kind of happy for Opel. The Insignia looks "good", Opel has to get his own face/front, the Insignia seems like a perfect basis, good luck Opel!
