And I don't know how it is done in every country, but in Brazil is common practice to prescribe half the minimum dose of psychiatric drugs at first to see if the patient has any side effects before taking the full ammount of the drug.

I am depressed and I have problems with concentration because of it. It's like everything I try to focus on get overriden by everything that seems wrong in my life. It was so hard to concentrate that I had to quit my job (a job that I used to excel on a few years ago). Everything that she says in the beginning of the commercial are symptoms that I have experienced.

I'm not going to defend antidepressants because I have no experience with them, just wanted to point this one observation out.

My depression got seriously worse and I had a migraine with aura for a month, and was then hospitalized for the first time in my life. Do not take this crap!!!

Everyone has a right to their own opinion and who would want to increase suicidal thoughts, be nervous etc. There are natural ways to overcome depression. Why would you want to take a drug that can make have all these side effects and make u want to t kill your self even more.

they should add: chest pains, trouble breathing, swelling of the face. swelling and itchiness of the arms, massive headache, and near stroke.

i almost died on pristiq today. DONT EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR think about taking this medicine. anyone. i didnt listen and my doctor pushed this on me.

Eh. Desvenlafaxine helped me through the depression of post acute opiate withdrawal. The commercial is fucking crazy though.

Are you stupid every point you had was dumb depression does effect concentration and 2ndly all anti depressents are sketchy with teen and all anti deppresants can increase thoughs of suicide honestly dont start rambeling before you know what your saying and people cant just say oh im sorry now ill be happy the regular MDD or clinical depresion client has an average life span of 20-40 because they kill them selfs so dont say that anti depression is fake jerk.

1st: i'm not sure what background or training you have, and not to be a smart ass, but depression is the reason why a lot of people cannot concentrate, cannot get up in the morning and a LOT of people experience PHYSICAL symptoms as a direct result of depression.

2nd:As with any drug, you are going to have side effects, that is why YOU have to go through with your doctor your needs and if the medication is appropriate for you.. a lot of times the benefits outweight the side effects
