  • Hey Jude was written for John's son Julian by Paul. It was to coax him during his parents divorce.

  • @snubatubbi she knows that dumbass! she was talking about the MOVIE not the SONG.

  • @jaccor45 I know that Im not stupid. I was just sharing a fact.

  • I love how in the movie it represented love .. but really.. its about drugs and shooting it up ;D

  • that picture is so beautiful..

i don't know the movie. i love the songs.

i wish i had to movie in my language

  • Great movie plot, great music selection, great actors. :D

  • I love everything about this song and appreciate you greatly for posting this video. <3

  • thiss iss rolaa

estaa bn chidaa es lsa leyy¡¡¡

  • *orgasm to this song*

  • yur stupid if u like The Beatles and dont like this movie

    BECAUSE

this movie was based on the lyrics and story line of many

    hit songs by The Beatles

this movie is amazing because it brings back the 60's and makes the modern aged people relate

    i love it

    'nuff said

  • @SarabooMendeezl: I love the Beatles, and I thought the movie was good. Not the best, but good. And the reason I say that is because of the random drug trip in the middle of the movie that made no sense and didn't affect the plot at all.

Besides that, I love the soundtrack. I love the cinematography. I love the concepts and themes.

But that one trippy part was just so unnecessary.

So, if somebody doesn't like the movie, it doesn't mean they don't like/respect The Beatles.

    c:

  • @iloveroxasaxeldemyx The drug part was showing how life can push you into doing drugs or effect your creativity.

  • @Ethaaanify: Cool story bro.

  • @iloveroxasaxeldemyx Answering someones question cunt fuck. Grow a pair instead of trying to act like a hardass over youtube..

  • @Ethaaanify: You okay, there?

I didn't even voice my opinion to you in the first place... Why are you getting angry?

Happy thoughts, dude. Trust me, they take you far.

  • @iloveroxasaxeldemyx the trippy part was probably put in to depict how it was normal to smoke and etc. and it doesn't make sense if people enjoy the lyrics and songs of The Beatles, just not this movie. The movie bring lyrics to form. like molding clay or creating a masterpiece. the lyrics were the paints and brushes, the actions are the artist.

and im not saying the Beatles original music wasn't 'alive' but the movie brings a new outlook on things with succinct emotions and topics (:

  • @SarabooMendeezl: I can see that, but still, despite how creative the scenes WERE, I think that part was filler. It didn't really relate to the plot, imo. And some people don't like that type of movie, in which it's based on creativity; some people are more logical. *shrugs*

Just trying to defend both sides, heehee.

Oh, I can think of an example: Twilight- I didn't like the movie, but most of the soundtrack was astoundingggg.

    :D

  • This movie is awesome! I think they really honored The Beatles.

  • I dont know why people thing that this movie like ruined the songs or dishonored The Beatles the whole point of the movie was to show the meanings of each song just all put together

  • 90 people thought the dislike button was dis-i-like

  • @TheKavil13 lol. you made my day thx

  • @TheKavil13 lol

  • This Movie never raped anything. It used the original Beatles music and lyrics woven into a great story line. As a person who actually lived through the Beatles all too short period, the movie and the music is a tribute to their originality and diversity. I'm sorry that it didn't live up to your expectations eqtworld, change them.

  • This film embodies the spirit of the Beatles completely. I love the way the times change within the movie as the music did with time. Of course the Beatles are timeless. I couldn't have thought of a better way to portray the music, the movie is just wonderful.

  • I loooovvvveeeeddd this movie so much <3

  • My favorite musical

  • the song and the movie are beautiful .. they are different from others.!

  • I think the movie gave a beautiful and original sense to all the Beatles' songs. Alot of them, the public have never and will never know the true meaning and inspirations, so the movie's attempt to give a meaning to them and fitting them into a pertinent setting was amazing.

In my opinion the movie just shows a way of understanding the songs, but It certainly doesn't try and steal away the originals, because by changing the tunes and giving it a story they clearly make the distinction.

  • That is probably my FAVORITE movie ever... This scene where this song is from, It almost made me cry...

  • who else loves how he says better the first time?

  • With moulin rogue, this film is the film which i want to watch and hear everyday

  • GOSH I LOVE THIS MOVIE :D

  • GREAT MOVIE!!! I LOOVE IT !!!!

  • This movie has it's own story but it's base is the beatles songs.

  • Max sounds like Hyde

  • is jude a girl or a boy

  • @Blackkmagee1 Its up to you, but I am pretty sure the song was written in the perspective of a boy and a girl courtship.

  • @Blackkmagee1 Paul wrote Hey Jude when Lennon and Cynthia got divorced, he was in the car on his way to visit them and he composed it to Lennon's son Julian, to comfort him. So it was originaly Hey Jules...any ways Julian didnt know this song was for him until like 20 years later... XD <3 The Beatles!!

  • I love his voice.

  • devo riuscire a vederlo questo musical.... senza addormentarmi =P

  • surprisingly, I like this version better than the original, and I love the Beatles.

  • @frenchfry01 Why can't we like both? I love both the movie AND the Beatles, and I bet that if they saw this movie, they'd agree.

  • @frenchfry01 I'm sure in the beginning you had four young men that couldn't sing very well, trying to sound lik the beatles.

  • @frenchfry01 I'm sure in the beginning you had four young men that couldn't sing very well, trying to sound lik the beatles. Who in the hell sounds perfect.

  • @frenchfry01 Paul McCartney liked it....Ringo liked it...who the fuck are you now?

  • @Heavenlea6292 Lennon would love it, Harrison....not that sure

  • @frenchfry01 ...your kinda pathedic

  • @frenchfry01 If Paul and Ringo liked i don't think your opinion matters much to me.

  • i love prudence randomly in the background. :) lmao, she my favorite in the movie!

  • 87 people accidentally hit the dislike button. i GUESS THEY NEED GLASSES

  • I'm glad a friend talked me into watching this movie. If you haven't seen it yet, go watch it. ESPECIALLY if you like the Beatles! Usually musicals are a little cheesy but this movie is a perfect exception.

  • wow!!! this version is very very good.... 5 stars!!!

  • What happened to the good old times when music was made with real instruments and had soul?... now all we get is fake crap techno and music made by computers that have absolutely no soul or emotion within lyrics and notes...

  • @Xguardian18 Gee, what happened to the good old times when we used to rub to sticks together to make fire? See, THAT'S cooking. Now all we get is fake crap like stoves, ovens and microwaves that have absolutely no soul or emotion... Come on dude, get with the times. I didn't hear any part in this version of the song saying it was better than the original. It was good. Just enjoy it. If you don't like it, click on another song. People get so critical now-a-days. Everyone is a critic. Sad....

  • @808Raiden i wasnt... sigh.... my comment was critical to other music now.. i love the beatles.. they had soul lol....

  • Deputy Russell Clank!!!! Voice like a sexy angel

  • very good joe andeson very good...I love your wox angelica

  • this version is WHOREable

  • @oZ12AFROCOOLo

    I know right

  • @heffocheffefer, wow thnx. some interesting info on this song. gives me something to think about. Paul is so sweet. the Beatles were pretty much the best band of all time. John and George were so talented, and Paul and Ringo still are. I hear they're playing in Hamilton soon.

  • this song is my favorite from Across the Universe. This song was meant for i think Paul Macartney's son Jude. He was having problems i think with either his mom or his grf idk. This reminds me of my mom her middle name was Jude but she died when i was 5.

  • @101peachykeene This song is actually from another song called, "Hey Jules," which was written for Julian. He was having problems during his parents' divorce.

  • @ilooveponiesalot and @101peachykeene This song was actually written by Paul, for Julian, the son of John. John and his first wife Cynthia were going through a divorce and Paul noticed that Julian was struggling- as any child would. So he wrote the song for Julian, though it is said that John believed that Paul wrote the song for him. Anyways, while writing Paul realized that "Hey Jules" was not quite fitting, thus changing it to "Hey Jude", much catchier- and distinctly for a male/boy.

  • @heffocheffefer Ah, that makes more sense.

  • I like the way this guy sung this song

  • nanananana (8) great song , damm it

  • the only cover in this movie i didnt like was Being for the Benefit of Mister Kite! They mutilated that song

  • Appreciateing life right now

  • Weoo, i love this moviee! i didnt get to finish it .. Buut ~

Its super good to where i ended.. but i adore the songs.

  • check out out live video :) its got a sweet na na na na section :p

  • I love this song and the movie is one of my favorites.

  • Joe was my absolute FAVORITE in this movie. And this song was the best. :D I just watched it for the fifth time. I still love it. Fantastic movie, they couldn't of made it any better than they did. :D

  • I really can't understand those who say that this film is horrible only because it "has copied" The Beatles' songs. I think they made this film in memory of every wonderful song of The Beatles. So I really enjoyed watching this film :3

  • @MeissaIllusion I appreciated the :3 face at the end :)

  • @MeissaIllusion Yeah I'm not sure I understand their stance either. That was the whole point. They worked in conjunction with those still affiliated with the music to make the movie.

  • @MeissaIllusion I TOTALLY AGREE!!!

  • this song reminds me of stuff that happened in the past <3

  • i love this movie !

  • loveeeee this !

  • xq rayos se la copian a losbeatles ta bn k staba ash me pusieron d malas grazias video tonto

  • does anyone else think its moving?

  • @gregzzz1010 its the picture illusion effect it makes the water look like its moving a bit if thats what you mean

  • I absolutely LOVE this movie! This is my favorite song from the movie!

  • I love this movie (:

It's one of my favorite movies.

  • when I first saw this movie, I sung this song non stop

  • By far one of the great movies I have ever seen

  • I dont hear autotune in this at all.

  • @sakurabaka corse not its not autotuned

  • dude this moviekicks ass across the universe

  • does it sound like its auto-tuned???

  • @TheKevinwashere It's completely auto tuned lol. But I still like it not nearly as good as The Beatles though

  • @dannycs4 no!! its not just not great quality

  • @Turje1990 Um, if you had ears, you'd tell that all of Joe's songs in the movie were auto tuned a bunch. You can especially tell in that bit of Happiness Is A Warm Gun where he screams really loud I might be wrong, I haven't seen the movie in a while. But it was somewhere in Happiness Is A Warm Gun

  • @dannycs4 Trust me...autotuning is much more obvious...he's an awesome singer...and they all were. When he finishes his sentencse, you can hear a bit of quivering in his voice, it's naturally good. Most of the singers in the movie were never professionally trained...

    pretty awesome.... :)

  • @LadyLay22 No, trust me. If you had any experience with autotuning (like me) you would know 1. that it can be subtle (like this song) and 2. how to catch it even if it is subtle. I know for a fact that Joe (Max) used a lot of autotune, because I myself have used it and it sounded like Joe's. All the characters used it (all singers now use it, which I despise so much), except Joe used it the most.

  • @dannycs4 No, trust me. If you had actually been in the studio when the song was being recorded (like me), you'd know that everything you just said was BS. No autotune was used. Nice try though.

  • @NPWherritt 1. You're wrong on so many levels. 2. Drop it.

  • @dannycs4 I'm a recording engineer. I was there. You're a moron. Until you actually post something relevant to the conversation, I suggest you stay out of it.

  • @MeltingTheSun You may be a recording engineer, but you're also slightly retarded. Now just drop it.

  • @dannycs4 Lol @ you saying I'm wrong, then telling me to drop it. If you really wanted me to drop it, you wouldn't reply back. And do you even know how autotune works?

@Kori ...just let him be. He'll just reply with: "Durrrr, you're an idiot now drop it." Apparently that's all he knows how to say. Hey, drinks? I don't have your number on my new phone. Text me.

  • @NPWherritt I told you to drop it because arguing never gets anyone anywhere.

  • @NPWherritt how do we know you were really there? I mean it's Youtube, people can talk any kind of crap to proove a point cos no one can tell if their bullshitting or not. Also,I beleive that in this instance you are talking out your ass cause when I saw your comment about being 'in the room' when they rcorded this I was like hmm and checked out your channel and apparantly your 19 years old which probably means your really 12 and therefore wern't alive when this song was recorded.

  • @NPWherritt Now you're in a bit of a situation cause if you are telling the truth and infact were there then why are you masquarading as a 19 year old anyways?

  • @SuperUkuleleGirl None of the information on my account is accurate. Call me paranoid, but I just don't like doing it. This isn't even my real name. And you have every right not to believe me. But if someone is spreading false information that I know from first hand experience is incorrect, then I feel it's within my respect for the artist to set it straight. Get what I'm saying?

  • @NPWherritt Fair. But you could've just said that Autotune wasn't even invented in the 60's :L So,is John Lennon really an irritable twat or is that just media hype?

  • what is the movie guys tell me?

  • Across the Universe. Fantastic movie!

  • @weedheadpothead Across the universe

  • whats the movie???????????? :D

  • across the universe

  • very nice version but not as good as the original :)

  • sooooooooooooo much better then the origional.

  • @69iambecomedeath89 nooooo this is a good version but not as good as original :o

  • @weedheadpothead origional is shit now

  • I love this version, the actors/singers are very talentuous !

  • Really good version of Hey Jude (: I loved the movie

  • I really like this version of this song but I also love the original. Great tribute to the beatles and great movie!

  • My fave from Across the Universe. <3 His voice was made for this song.

I get goosebumps when they harmonize at 2:12!

  • I <3 Max....he is my official Hero. Joe Anderson did an amazing job.

  • stupendo:) wonderful:)

  • fuck off, you picky little cunts!

it isn't about the pitch corrections and whatnot

it's a good song, enjoy it

  • This song is so soothing and relaxing! I love it!

  • this is one of my favorite songs from the movie!....<3...

  • cant help but enjoy that "jude" is the same name of the dude from 6teen.. love that show. love this song. although i do realize they have nothing in common.

  • nice image right there i wish theyd make out or something...

  • kaia kai

  • Looks Like Shes Gunna Pounce. MROW! ;D

  • this song is awesome, which of course these people can't compare to the original beatles. :)

  • i beg to differ lol auto tune sounds great

  • Why don't we all just can it with the "computerized" junk and enjoy a good song?

  • I love this song. This song makes me want to live life more than ever :)

  • like this version..

  • EXQUISITE !

  • ya i know....

dosent change the fact that they rewined the song's

    sounds like total shit

  • wtf are you talking about?! the beatles stuff werent ciomputerized at all, you hear them in concert and its like the exact same.. you dumb,, go kill yourself

  • You wanna hear computerized listen to Lady gaga and shyt...

  • Even her face is made with computers xD

  • i hate ppl who do this to the beatles songs, this isent even real... ITS ALL COMPUTERIZED. thats what gets me mad!

  • Computerized? You wanna hear computerized, listen to the top 40.

  • Listen....the vocals have been pitch corrected...

  • @joelemsl3 i hate ppl who are morons and don't even understand that the beatles albums were also effectively "computerized" .... they might not have been as sophisticated but their albums were certainly NOT representative of how they would sound live.

  • its because it was remade for the movie "Across the Universe," as the title suggests. this movie contains a lot of beatles songs that were remade by the actors in the movie.

  • I actually like this version better. By the way I loved this scene from the movie, So groovy!

  • i've watched this movie about 10 times now :D
