@joyisbloo She makes a wound in her wing so no vest would help that. I believe she's stopped plucking also. She was wearing a collar and is now on an anti depressant and hopefully that was the answer. Wearing a vest would depress her, just like the collar did, and she would pluck anywhere that the vest can't cover.

And now she's on Prozac and it's finally something that helps. Maybe you should learn what you're talking about before you try to tell some one off because you look like an dumbass.
I have a Lovebird couple and I can hear them from the street when I'm heading up the stairs to my place. I don't think a Budgie would manage that. My birds (called Maestro and Sapphire) are very much like these two. Always cuddling, playing, fooling around. And sleeping side by side on my left hand when I'm busy with my computer.

so we have two pairs of love birds caged outside out window.. then one day, a yellow lovebird came by to share some food.. one very similar to yours. and right now.. I mean NOW.. a green one is outside my window. I want to have him but i dont know how to :( i want to keep him and maybe i'll try to train these birds :)
@imfxxnmagicdude You can try borrowing a cage from some one and setting a food and water dish in it. Also a nest box or sleepy hut for it to feel secure and like it's found a home. Then, try to close the door when it's sleeping inside.
Are you in Arizona? I know there's a lot of feral lovebirds there.
@SongVideoRemakes In that case, I got a good deal on them, I think their breeder wanted them off of their hands. It was $75 for both of them, a cage with toys, and hand feeding formula.
Have you checked Craigslist? People might be offering some one there that need a home.
@SongVideoRemakes Please don't buy when you can adopt! You can find Lovebirds in almost any parrot rescue or Humane Society. Try petfinder d o t c o m. And please do your research before getting them. A lot of people don't realize the noise, money and time involved and get rid of them soon after getting them.

@megangatita It was only about $17. I took a blood sample from a clipped toe nail and sent it in to Avianbiotech. At least, I think it was that company. It was a while ago. That was for Daisy. Clover laid an egg so it wasn't necessary for her.
That's awesome! My princess are 8 or 9. I can't remember what month I got them. They're going to live as long as I do though. So will all my pets. People trying to convince me otherwise can't.
Aw! Why did they die? I have snails too in all of my tanks. Sooooooooo many snails. They're the small ugly kind. What kind were yours and did they multiply like crazy too?
