I went to high school and played varsity football with Christian Ponder, the Vikings quarterback. He really wasn't that good in high school and shouldn't be playing professionally...
@Oblivion486 Well he played college football at Florida State because his dad and his grandfather went there, so he didn't have to do anything impressive to already be grandfathered in. So maybe he got better in college, I have no idea because I never watched his games, but he was garbage in high school. theres another great running play, its in i formation offset in most playbooks (ik its in the patriots) its called HB dive its a great up the middle running play
I've been "retired" from Madden since 2006. The game started getting shitty and defense went out the window. (I can't play both Db's at the same time and my AI defender doesnt do shit)
Is this game "fixed?" defensively? I don't mean cheap blitz nanos. Is the game legitimate again as it was in 2005's Ray Lewis cover? Is the hurry up offense 85% chance false start crap fixed?
@Ninjadelusion the false starts on hurry up is gone. it is almost too easy to get sacks. but defense has improved as online i've noticed if someone runs the same play often the cpu defense will pick up on it and adjust. i still think it isn't 100% to the true game but it the defense is improved

It was frustrating as hell having some cheesy player throw bombs and bullets all over defenders who were too good to reach up and knock the ball down. Now if only they can fix the problem of QB's not throwing impossible to stay in bounds passes in the flats...
