This isn't about Constitutional Rights, it's about Natural Rights. The very first premise of Natural Rights is that a person owns their own body. Every other right can be traced back to this one...freedom of speech, worship, self defense, safe from illegal searches and seizures, etc.
Smoking is a perfect expression of this Natural Right. Don't let another man/woman determine what YOU can do with your own body.
Liberty and fighting for constitutional rights shouldn't be just about smoking pot and getting high. Seems like that's all they care about in Keene. They don't give a rip about our freedoms...they just want to get stoned.
Getting High and Smoking Pot is JUST symbolism. Its very easy to get confused about seeing a bunch of people smoking pot. (and to push them into a inferior stereotype). The Point is: You should have EVERY right to smoke pot/grass/shit if you wanted to because theoretically, in a truly free society you OWN your body therefore YOU have the RIGHT to do Whatever that is you want to do. (IE: Smoke Pot). Understand: Words are the cheapest commodity on this universe. If its done the wrong way..Show US!
I understand perfectly what you are saying but the general public doesn't understand that. Don't you think your efforts to preserve constitutional rights would be more effective if there were other things you were standing up for as often as you are standing up for your rights to smoke pot. You might have a better response with more joining and helping the cause.
Right on man, to the best of my knowledge, and Ive studied it quite a bit already, the constitution outlines rights and duties of citizens and government employees/agents. You can adopt it as your law if ya want, but you need not. Citizenship however is a bum deal. Do ya need citizenship to enjoy gods earth? Or gods natural produce? No you dont. You are free just as soon as you agree you are. Citizens are bound by these rules, freemen and women arent.
@obscuredtruth luckily "obscuredtruth" you can change laws by "voting" and "supporting legislation" and dont have to throw hyperbolic tempertantrums acting like you're heroes.
you mean like the right to carry firearms however we please, open OR concealed? Personally I think the pot will go over easier with the brainwashed public...
I am a Libertarian and I really think what these guys are doing is awesome...but...I personally think that that guy in the Guy Fawkes mask was being a deuche to that cop at the end of the video. Part of the point is to show the police that liberty isn't a bad thing...that maybe they could come to support it. If I was that police officer and that guy was patronizing me like that, analyzing my handshake and telling me I had 'control issues', that wouldn't help convert me.
Tobacco is major toxic nasty chit. Smoked that crap for over 20 years. F the marlboro man. Tobacco is marketed as a freedom, but is just the opposite. Self inflicted purgatory. Don't do it friends, 420 way better 4 ya ;0)~ Thanks Sam
Can't you at least imagine a day when the police are actually on the side of righteous, peaceful citizens, instead of being made into our enemies by the drug war?
Smoking cannabis will one day be lawful, as it aught to be. Take back the Republic.
They'll _never_ be own the people's side. They are agents of corporations and that's who they protect. I'd rather imagine the day that they disband, people arm and protect themselves, and private for hire detectives deal with solving crimes while being given no authority over other people...
2:50 Love that guy... I notice a lot of cops types squeez my hand REALLY hard when they shake.

@XanatharEye ITS A TYPE OF INTIMIDATION TO SHOW THAT THERE MORE DOMINANT OR STRONGER BECAUSE THEY DO IT TO ME TO AND THEY SAY " NOT MUCH OF A GRIP "

@kratos20113 confusing a handshake with a grip is a clear indication of deep closet homosexuality. ie, cops = fags

I like the part where libertarians complain about others breaking a law that affects their safety and run to the police to help them.

"I didn't explicitly sign or agree to the constitution."
It doesn't matter, because you aren't a party to it anyway. The several states are.

I didn't explicitly sign or agree to the constitution.
Did you or are you simply responding out of how the government schools trained you to think?

@ConquerersSpirit Cannabis has always been at the forefront the the counterculture. Conversely, corn is the vanguard of government oppression.
