I'm sorry but I have to agree. Why the hell would you pull a goaltender three goals down with under three minutes left in the fucking game? Taylor Hall is one of the best players on that team and he deserves to be on a team with a coach that isn't going to make stupid decisions like that.

Renney made a stupid decision by pulling the goalie in a 3 goal game. Just makes it even more pathetic when your at home. This is coming from an Oilers fan, but we're not a pathetic team and Hall can take more stitches then you can take a paper cut. Play in the NHL and come back and talk.

pulling the goalie was useless, they're clearly not going to catch up in 2 minutes. Renney was hoping that his team could come together on their man advantage in hopes to end the game on somewhat a positive note and give the fans something to cheer about. But its also the teams fault for not keeping the score at least the same or adding a goal. Whether they're 5-2 or 3-2, the oilers let in an empty net goal

We need to get rid of Renney, Lowe and Tambellini. The average finish for the Oilers over the last 5 years is 24th, with a projected 29th this year taking it to 25th. And before you bring up Chicago or Pittsburgh as examples of a rebuild, notice that they both changed their GM before they found success. Maybe signing defencemen that don't suck (Barker) or refusing to play useless goons (Hordichuk) would get the team out of the basement?

Knowing Oilers management. Maybe they'll send Hall to the minors and than buy out his contract for speaking the truth. (a la Souray). Kidding aside, this is beginning to become a horrible organization and for players like Hall who are passionate and have such a desire to win, it's going to be difficult to play with a losing franchise.
