Hallelujah! Thank you for postings another gospel choir jewell! They don't write 'em or sing 'em like that anymore. Since listening to old songs on the tube, I've going to ebay to buy some of these older gospel jewels. Thanks, again, and be blessed!
We still have testimony service at our church also and our services be Holy Ghost filled and Fire Baptized LOL Are YOu running? My God they are praising the Lord on this song. Times has Changed but i'm so glad God hasn't
Well Love Center Choir in 1984 used to tear up this song in Sunday Morning at 8901 MacArthur Blvd. all the time, and LaWanda Scroggins used to wear out the Lead vocal part. I wish they had recorded their version, y'all would love it!!!
I was still pretty young when our Young Adult Choir used to sing this, but I always loved for the choir to sing this! I havent heard this in ages. I always thought it was by Shirley Caesar or Mattie Moss Clark. I didnt know it was Keith Pringle!
This song used to send some Sunday Morning services into serious overtime!
This was great choir workmanship. I remember this choir had such discipline and could sing your socks off every time. We used to go to evening services all over town that was featuring Keith Pringle on program. All they had to do was send a flyer saying that Keith Pringle and PCC were going to be there and all the youth of the city would gather.
My Mom and I used to sing this song with the Mass choir at the Rose of Sharon Church, Philadelphia, PA. Keith Pringle and PCC set the standard for choirs in the 80's.
This when choirs would sing under the annointing, many choirs don't sing under the annointing no more..it's more of a show then letting the spirit lead them. My mother and her church choir used to have church like this back in the day. Pentecostal Power Church Benton Harbor, MI under the leadership of the late Bishop Willis Baker.
An older friend of mine who worked at my Alma Mater gave me a bag of vinyl one year, and it contained this album...BUT...when I looked inside the cover, the actual vinyl wasn't in there. It's good to finally hear something from it. Thanks!
PCC was the best choir!! No one could touch PCC in their day. They would jam everywhere they went.
I was a member of West Angeles COGIC many years ago, the lead on this song, Sis. Jamesetta Rhodes, was a member of West A too. She would tear up when she sang for praise service or lead a song with the choir.
I used to have this album, someone must have stolen it,I could never lose a classic like this, this song brings back so many memory,me and a sister in the choir use to sing this song. Thanks for posting.Does it get any better, keep on posting the good old gosple(old school)
