The intention behind this song was to bring people together and fight for the nation.
The song is written by a Hindu.....so obviously theres gonna be some elements of Hinduism.
I don't know any patriotic song by a muslim and m sure most of us don't know, if they come forward with any such song for India, I will be proud to sing that song......keeping the nation ahead of religion.
Issuing fatwa is unnecessary and kinda insult. Also it is not compulsory to sing, and no1 shud force u to sing.

there is also a urdu version of vande mataram, which almost nobody knows......
Issuing fatwa is ridiculous step.....also what we sing is just the first two stanza of vande mataram poem coz the rest of the poem compares India to Goddess Durga.......it was taken care that muslims have no issues

Lets list the problems: Water shortages, more crop failures, disease and famine. too much energy demand, pollution, old and overloaded infrastructure, no urban planning, summers becoming increasingly hotter, overstretched education resources, Limited arable, potable land; rivers drying up. This is not even considering the cultural, political divisions, healthcare, poorest 800 million below the poverty line. THINK!! how will you manage it?

That's a poor Valuation! I have heard both songs. The Quality of Vande Matharam is far better. But the patriotism play a role. For pakistani's Dil Dil pakistan would seem better. If you stand neutral you will feel which one is better.
