To answer everyone saying "cheating" (which this isn't) is "gay" or "for noobs" there is a difference between cheating and having a bit of fun on a separate game save file. Bethesda wouldn't put stuff like this in if they didn't want you to just have fun with the game, after all that is the point of playing a game (to remind all you nerdy keyboard warriors) just to let you know i have completed this game and got all achievements legit on pc and 360. for those of you that cant get (`/tilde) to work: Open up the "Start" menu, go into "Control Panel" > "System and Maintenance" > "Device Manager". Click "Human Interface Devices". If you see "Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver", right-click and uninstall it.

P.S I copied this from the wikia but it helped me a lot so I just want people to know what could be wrong.

you can get even more companions with the Sharing & Caring mod on Fallout3 nexus. You should hit that up. You can get more than 7 companions that way! I raided Old Olney the other day with a small army of 13!

at level 30 fawkes can kill everyone he killed all my other followers with 100% hell fire armor with his hand and i unloaded 1000 rounds in vengence and got a head start with the mirv and we still died

Noob or not,the game will become very boring if you use cheats!!!The only cheats I use is the setessential for the trade caravans because on higher levels when they are not essential they are to weak to defend themselves from strong creatures that always spawn near them.And thats not cheating,thats fixing what bethesda didnt program properly...

And would you please explain me that reason?Why dont the Caravans lvl up?Creatures that can easily kill them spawn always near them,or as it happened to me many times,the caravans come close to me on the road to Project purity when Im doing "Take it back"?...Face it man,thats lousy programming...

Also this engine is pretty basic, it wasn't "Hard" at all making Fallout, if you did your research you'd know its an EARLIER VERSION OF THE ENGINE IN OBLIVION. and last I checked copy pasting was pretty useful in getting shit done. I'm pretty sure if you gave me a month I'd crack a rip off of this game in every aspect. Shit isnt hard, it only looks hard because you know nothing about it.

@Utalk234 really? it was? i had no idea the games are only exactly alike in gameplay. everybody knows they were similar. but heres what the argument was, caravans should be leveled along with the player. oblivions did not contain caravans of traders, those were new, so no that was not exactly like oblivion. every game no matter how many games completely identical came before it have plenty of faults. and please dont say you can do something you know you cant to try to look smart, just dont.
