This is the easiest and most non-invasive way to sex a snake, and Kathy Love is one of the top corn experts in the country (world?) - she LITERALLY wrote the book on corn snake care. So I highly doubt she'd do anything to hurt them, especially with knowing her from my corn snake forum.

Its better than probing though, another way of checking it's gender. Either way, the only way you need to know is if you have a few snakes.

i didnt put much pressure and im only 12, so i thnkg i pretty sure its a girl. but u can also check if ur ball pythons tail is ling and skinny which means its a male, or short and fat, which means its a female. check out tubbysnake3 videos on "sexing cornsnake" works for ball pythons too!
