  • Inspirador vídeo, mensagem e imagens baseadas nos poemas de Rumi. Vida e mais VIDA em caminhada.

  • Beautiful :-)!

  • Reciting this poem for a poetry recital

  • Thank you.

  • Love this thank you x

  • wonderful production- nicely done to showcase the literature of a master

  • Beautiful poem that shows Rumi possessed an equally beautiful soul.

  • I'm so greatful for this amazingly beautiful video!

  • ...My heart; house of prayer ...WOW Thanks very much. Respect***

  • omg....how beautiful.

  • May I remind those idiots who want to link Rumi's work to Allah(meaning God by any name), that they havent understood a word.

  • @kamranii Neither have those who are offended by those suggestions & seek to question them.

Rumi was a Muslim. He was the epitome of Muslim, and Muslims of all brands should be content knowing that.

  • @kappy0405, If that's how you want to interpret him. But if you let run your imagination, or allow your mind to "roam" , then you'll find Rumi a much bigger figure than the constraints of one single religion or creed allows. I find in his poems to be the exact opposite of the straitjacket philosophy of religious thought. Rumi was everything a human being can be. With all its ambiguity and sense of indecision. For all I know, he would have been sexually engaged with Shams. Gay :)

  • @kamranii ahh, perhaps Islam isn't as restraining as it's made out to be then. Rumi being a perfect example of that truth.

Either way, peace & love :)

  • @kappy0405 Peace :)

or perhaps Rumi was not such a limited figure to be consigned to one single idea. We are making progress, meet me halfway :)

  • @kamranii Fair enough. :)

I feel the middle ground finds its place in gnosticism. The problem with all religion comes when it's taken completely literally and externalized, promoting fear & dogma. But there is a philosophy within all religions that isn't as limiting, promoting direct experience and enlightenment. Whether it's Jewish Kabbalah, Christian Gnosticism, or Islamic Sufism or some Shia schools of thought. I try to see the best potential in everything.

    Peace.

  • @kamranii Sorry but you think wrong...Rumi was engaged with Shams but in spiritual relation...In sufism a man can love a man without any sexual vision...like his master...or his brother...like the derwish dancers who marry their souls for ever...something very pure...sometimes difficult to understand with our conventions...

  • you have done wonderful job, I love poetry by Rumi and together with this fotos makes an anbeliveable efect... so peaceful that I have no words to describe it... like I see myuself as the part of the universe, with the nature, the water and the mountains, part of the sky and soul of the animal, the feeling of being just an energy, not human, like having no body and being free..feeling like being in the middle of the storm, touching pinquins, playing with the polar bear, feeling the freezing air..

  • Allaho Akbar. he is talking about Allah not a girl or boy

  • If you are truly interested in Rumi and Sufism I recommend you to search on google for:

    Sufi for a Month.

Sufi for a Month is a spiritual and cultural immersion experience into the sufi way and the universal spiritual teachings of Mevlana Rumi. A very unique experience....

  • Excellent !!

  • "Do you want to be ALL? Then go, go and become nothing." - Iraqi

All Rumi lovers, to get a sip of the kind of Love he felt, clean your heart from everything that is not True. Remove the rust from your heart so that Allah's Noor (Light) might shine through it. Your words will become pearls. Peace and blessing on every true seeker.

  • This makes me feel like someone that matters...

  • how could I not be swayed to love and admire a glorious man like Rumi?

    Answer:

Because Glorious Man "RUMI" is a Saint POET who interpret Quran and capable to reach Humanity, as we are yearning to express our love for God ( Allah ), through humanity. He is able to bring our inner yearning !!!!!

  • Thank you so much Dr Ramos for sharing this amazingly beautiful poem and video of Rumi. The pictures are wonderful, and the voice is so powerfully fills the words with life that it brings me to tears. GOD BLESS!!!

    Thank you.

  • This is the most romantic spiritual physical poem I have ever heard in my life! I really love this line 'I am bewildered by the magnificence of your beauty and wish to see you with a 100 eyes..." (0:50 to 0:59)

  • Fabulous!!! Amazing delivery. Love the edge you have created. I've done one or two (always been nervous to tackle his stuff) What say you?

  • @chalitzah Dear brother it is all spiritual peoples dream, one day we all live in peace

and harmony . i am not Iranian but very much impressed with your comment .

In reality there is only one race that is the human race, one religion the religion of love . we need to work hard and spread love ,so that we can rebuild relationship

between our countries and our faiths.

    With love and light

    Fereydoon D

  • prachtig hoe het gedicht van toon en dus eigenlijk van ernst veranderd vanaf 1:27

  • Beautiful!

  • I wish the original language (arabic? persian?) was available.. the word 'face' is so unbecoming of something or someone that truly has a beautiful face... cara (spanish) or wajh (arabic) or gahrh (persian, i think) sounds much better...

  • @codectified well its Frasi (persian)

  • I can not believe that a poem written 800 years ago captures still the beauty of Love. Simply beautiful and without compare, Rumi is an amazing treasure of humanity.

  • I absolutely love this. I favorited it months ago and come back to it often. Thank you for posting

  • Onedrous!

  • Rumi said that he polished his heart and mind for many years, with much effort, before this revelation occurred...well, as one still polishing, still yearning, it brings me a bittersweet kind of feeling; because a part of me feels thrilled by the prospect of awakening, while another wonders how many moments, days, years, or even lifetimes I will still have to wait for such a sweet day to dawn.

  • I love the Voice that chap has. It reminds me of a old Black man's voice for some reason.

  • These words teach me to love of loving everything in the universe without distinguishing humanlove from the others. Very inspiring!

  • This is not an ordinary love song and it is not dedicated to girl but to God... Like all sufi poems... I mean it is mixed...

  • This is so beautiful!I love it!

  • beautiful, thank you!

  • Sometimes words inspire us. some times they make us cry, and some times they make us see what we should see, but never have.. I love the writings of Rumi so much.

Your video is both inspirational and beautiful.. Thank you for sharing it with us..

I will add it to my favourites..

  • "I am ashamed

    to call this love human

    and afraid of God

    to call it divine..."

    Beautiful words of LOVE...♥

  • Very beautiful poem .... I Love It and I send it to the love of my life...the girl whom I love with all my heart Habibity and She knew herself very well :):)

  • Every time i listen to it,it passes a radiation of ambience n magnificence.how BEAUTIFUL these words are n how skillfully videod.SALUTE to all those involved in its translation n making.........

  • FANTASTICO!

  • Let There & Everywhere Be LIGHT !

Peace, Love Music & Rainbows !

Also thankyou DrBillRamos, for creating such a breath-taking video.

  • OUT OF THIS WORLD..................thanks dr for posting n don get disappointed by these always unhappy souls like GURU who cant see anyone bathing in river of contentment n ecstacy.............

  • @flyalwayshigh Thank You

  • @flyalwayshigh Just out of cusriosity ... do you know who he is speaking of with regards to love?

  • @wasif002 "From the beginning of my life, I have been looking for Your face..." I'm quite sure he is speaking about the Highest, which he found in his (spiritual) friendship/love with the mystic Shems (please someone correct me if I have misunderstood, as I'm not a sufi!).

  • @hearts0ngs This is the state of "Laqaa"! Both existent and non-existent at the same time!! This is the touch that Sufis long for! He is speaking of the Highest! His words "...Mercy.." points out that he entered the door on the other side, although the fire of Love still burning points to the infinite path ahead!

  • dear this is meeting the GURU !!!

  • the goddess of love ..the words speak in volumes...

  • Love this poem.Sometimes I think that Rumi's poems translated incorrectly.I know that Rumi was Sufi (still Islam),but Rumi doesn't sound like a muslim at all. This poem doesn't sound like it is directed to God,sounds like it's directed to human (translation misinterpretations?)Anyhow,I love this poem.He has seen a face of God within his own heart.

  • Beautiful... beautiful beyond description..... Thank you for uploading and sharing this gift for the eyes, the ears and the soul.

    Blessings.

  • From the beginning of my life I have been looking for your face but today I have seen it. Today I have seen the charm, the beauty, the unfathomable grace of the face that I was looking for. Today I have found you and those that laughed and scorned me yesterday are sorry that they were not looking as I did.

  • each crystal clear intention of each soul sends LOVE away being shared and felt by others.

to me this is how the prayer comes to being, as the prayer is the heartfelt transmission between one being and another. the LOVE- AND- PRAYER NET runs on encompassing the universe. it never ceases, it lives on, as long as there are hearts who LOVE.

    kk

  • nice

  • My favorite track off that album! Thanks for putting video to it.

  • Thanks for viewing and appreciating

  • gabrie(cebrail)l is helping him with his words

  • Beautiful.

  • No of course I haven't seen him with my own eyes. This is the story. The story goes that he was unattractive in worldly terms and didn't seek company, but of course in God's eyes we are all cast in an image of beauty. But his 'ugliness' in the eyes of the world only serves to make Rumi's love of him all the more poignant.

  • love it.:-)).

  • i asked in prayer to be in love again...

3 days later i was deeply in love. It was not of myself, it is an act of the divine.

it is very spiritual....handle it well

  • thank you very much for the beautiful video xxx

  • haq peeeraaaaaaaa........

  • EPATHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tipota allo

  • this is so beautiful! favo.

  • That Rushing Soul Quickening the Rapure of Two, recongnizing the One, Within them.

  • All life depends upon your beauty! All survival is linked to your breast ! My soul longs to leave my physical body to rush to your side !

  • btw: awsome video and music.

  • Not a debate per se but will someone tell me, why did Rumi wrote, "I am ashamed to call this love human, and afraid of God to call it divine", IF this is a poem for God Himself??

I am not being difficult here, just trying to understand - for me this is a poem for a GREAT human love - compared only to God's... And I absolutely adore it!

Experts please correct me if I'm wrong...

  • @stitchwitch13

This is the beauty of sufi poems. You can not tell whether the lyrics describe earthly love, or love for God.

And maybe there is no difference bertween the two...

  • @stitchwitch13

There is always a dose of 'ambiguity" in these poems.

Maybe what it telling us is that love for man and love for God are the same. God made us, and made love. Why should it be two different ways to love? Sufi love is not lust. If you love man, you love God. What better way to love the Begetter than loving His creation?

I think it is important not to try to establish borders, precise definition when understanding sufi.

PS: I am not an expert. :)

  • @stitchwitch13

Do you think Rumi would've wanted to be loved for being hansome, or strong, or kind? Or maybe h wouldn't wanted to be loved because of his poems, through them.

God is the greatest artist. Love His creation and you will love Him. Love for a woman is also love for God.

  • yea, same problem im facing here.

I thaught : maybe he is not pleased to call his love Divine, because his love is still less and doesn't reach to the Divine love he would want.

But yea, this is tough one..

  • Rumi had a master whose only disciple was Rumi. He was a physically unattractive man who was eventually murdered by Rumi's jealous relatives. This is the Beloved who showed Rumi God within himself, and whom Rumi adored. Upon his death, Rumi was devastated, until he realised that his master lived on within his heart.

  • how do you know he was an unattractive man? have you seen him with your own eyes? no one unattractive or ugly in this world everyone is unique and beautiful in their own special way..its the reality you deny in yourself that makes others look unattractive to you

  • Comment removed

  • @stitchwitch13, because it is something much greater than human love, yet it is something that God is infinitely above (because God is much much greater than anything, and He can't be compared to anything).

  • Lovely!!! This is how we should feel every time when we think of our God! Thanks for putting it on youtube :-)

  • very sad to read all negative comments on a poem about Love, whether it be about divine or human love, it is about LOVE. So people please learn to love each other and tolerate each other. I love you all

  • Thanks for sharing !!!!

  • This is a poem for God!

And using it for a human being is totally nonsense!!!

    Allah please open their hearts!

  • @shahin1867iran, If anyone is ignorant, and amazingly so, it is you dear. And the way you are expressing yourself shows just how much immature you are. You don't know anything about Love, nor Rumi, nor religion. Rumi was a muslim, above all, a great imam and a dervish. He did all that muslims do. His 6-volume mathnavi (poetry) is all about interpreting the Qur'an. The Mathnavi is a commentary of one third of the Qur'an. Please fool, leave Rumi alone.

  • dear immature kid, the way you express yourself and communicate with people... your parents must really be proud of you. i'm wondering, what a person like you is doing on a site about rumi. i'm not trying to "shov" islam anywhere, i'm just telling you a mere fact, it's up to you if you want to run away from reality. grow up please.

  • why don't you actually read some of what rumi wrote?

"As long as i live i am the servant of the Quran

I am the dust under the feet of the Prophet Muhammad

Who ever belongs to God, God belongs to Him

Let yourself go, the ney will guide you to your goal

Demonstrate your love with your actions, your morals,

Be aware of the ways of servant people for the sake of Allah." - Rumi

  • Lesson asshole, your mohammed was a rapist phedophile so go sell your islam in the toilet, oh wait I feel some islam coming, let me go take a dump.

  • and you came here to teach us about rumi? it's like a baby of 6 yearls teaching einstein about relativity. are you trying to uppsett me with your spewing, barking and immaturity? won't work. you are not going to drag me down to your level, which is btw lower than the most disrespectfull and immature brat. i feel sorry for you friend. your soul is lower than that of an animal. i won't throw away more time on you... it would be more usefull to talk to a wall than to talk to you. /ignored

  • u are a douchebag

  • Suck these. Oh by the way, I feel some islam coming so let me go address this shit called islam.

  • @shahin1867iran this is called Sufism. it is a branch of Islam yes, but the Sufis were not like the present day douchebag islamists.

  • @gasmbay correction: Sufis are*! There are still people who practice Sufism. Sufism teaches tolerance, moderation, peaceful coexistence and humanistic values. Sufis are more concerned with finding the love of God and loving God in return and hold the belief that the disagreements and divisions that keep human beings separate are nothing more than illusions we must see past. Although I do no believe in the Qu'ran, how could I not be swayed to love and admire a glorious man like Rumi?

  • @ddpl365

    Answer:

Because Glorious Man "RUMI" is a Saint POET who interpret Quran and capable to reach Humanity, as we are yearning to express our love for God ( Allah ), through humanity. He is able to bring our inner yearning !!!!!

  • passionate and beautiful... truly breathtaking. this is how i aspire to write...<3

  • Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Exquisite. I feel enveloped in the Beloved's sweet arms, her kiss on my face and I am whole once again. Blessings.

  • why do I search for something I don't believe in? from the beginning of my life, i have been looking for your face! i fear i will never see it... lord give me a chance before or after death... i will keep looking...

  • perfect.....

  • This is a GORGEOUS video and poem. I watch it over and over. What a wonder to know the Divine One in such a way! I would love to find some more like this.
