Dude, I got the Apex Predator achievement on my Factory Zero run... you don't need any augs. Also, it doesn't matter if any enemies detect you. You can raise hell on the entire room as long as you stay out of his line of sight.

People, all the hating on Ray is because of the way he sounds. When he's doing a video with Michael, he sounds like "I just ate an entire coffee plantation" Ray. But, when he's with Fragger, he sounds like "Fuck my life, I don't wanna be here at all" Ray, and seemingly doesn't give a flying fuck about Fragger or the game, which is quite annoying.
