  • What kind of diseased asshole would dislike this? Go fuck yourselves in Hell, where you came from.

  • I love this! I remember seeing it at Ottawa Animation Fest. Goto-san did not know english but I gave him a big thumbs-up! Please upload higher quality version!

  • what's that ? a copy of "secondo coro delle lavandaie" by roberto de simone or a cover ?

  • @L345G I have to admit I didn't know about that (and it looks really good)... but anyway as I was saying this isn't their best work by far, if you want to listen at their best try "Feather Float"!

  • This is a cheap copy of "Secondo Coro Delle Lavandaie" by Roberto De Simone.

  • @Thoukudides You don't know OOIOO from this song, they are better than this and they aren't copycats. So you failed

  • @HCmon on youtube you have to find : 2° coro delle lavandaie

  • @Thoukudides Don't think of it as a cheap copy, you could consider it to be an hommage. (Both songs have qualities of their own, I like the OOIOO version because it so energetic and the Roberto de Simone version has a wonderfull mesmerizing drone.)

  • @torimasta if it's a hommage, they should mention the original artist

  • Is it possible these vocals were used in a Chateau Flight release on Versatile? They sound so familiar, having a hard time pinning it down.

  • Better than Tool and Radiohead!

  • Why on earth does this have such a bad like:dislike ratio?

  • There's more message hear than meets the ear.....WoW

  • UNITED MAFFEW ORDER

  • 0:46 the flower of life. Blessings.

  • Una verdadera pasada!! Flipante!!

  • sort of sounds like that song "thats not my name" by the Ting Tings, at least the drum track anyway.

  • @SkYsAw801 you're comparing that crap to this masterpiece?

  • God dammit I love this shit

  • I love it when the deer is drumming!

  • I don't know why, but this song makes me think of Patapon.

  • why so many dislikes? they are the most charming band

  • @TheSilentAstronaut When this video was first put on youtube, it was on the homepage for this site. Thus, many uncultured morons saw this video and reacted "WTF iz d1z sHiT? tHiZ iZ g4y bR0"

  • @Dlavernia arrogance is cool

  • this should be in princess mononoke

  • Le tme guess Bjork made this video when she was 13 years old.

  • LOVE IT! I reckon OOIOO are possibly even better than the boredoms and the boredoms are realy awesome so that's no easy feat. Yoshimi is a creative goddess, like soooo cool. I love the crazy vocals in this.

Also: the animation is amazing aswell obviously.

  • this vid remnds me of david anderson's deadsy

  • aw the video is cute. love the song!

  • I love the video. Its a nice track, but has for my taste too much reference to Roberto De Simone's Secondo Coro Delle Lavandaie of La Gatta Cenerentola as well as to Canto Della Liberta. Dunno what to think. Somebody did research I guess. Not bad. But this is rather editorial work than creation I suppose.

  • i love it and i am not on drugs you weirdo peoples

  • That's a very proud bird, holding that little green whistle.

  • You all better stop taking drugs before you comment. The comments here are just trippy.

  • Let us celebrate our illustrious/industrious eugenicists: Thomas Malthus, Darwin, Maggy Sanger, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Konrad Lorenz, Bertrand Russell, H.G. Wells, George Bernard Shaw.

  • @ElHombreConDosOjos: To be fair, Russell recanted.

  • Russell met with Albert Schweitzer too.

  • all these comments about acid are so beside the point. your brain has fantastic chemicals already there. Go out and run up a hill for fifteen minutes and you will see what i mean.

  • “Politicians talk, leaders act”

  • i thought this was going to be a song

  • it is, ooioo is a Japanese girl band. If you're on acid, this will all make sense.

  • Great video! It's like the Brothers Quay on acid.

  • what's up with them falling trees =)

  • great work and sounds...!!!

    >;-P

  • zajebiste...:-)

  • this is fucking badass

  • This reminds me of Roald Dahl.

    I love it too!

  • 0:35 futur of speciual effects

  • great song on a great album

    taiga is so good

  • The future of music is here!

  • Can anyone direct me towards a translation?

  • @csw300 they aren't singing real words... its jibberish.

  • @NegFi It's in Italian. I found the translation awhile ago.

  • @csw300 No, it's Japanese. It;s an all girl band singing and playing the music. They're named Ooioo and the name of their song is Uma.

  • @nostology

It's a Japanese band singing a song in Italian. It's from Secondo Coro Delle Lavandaie by Roberto De Simone.

You can look it up on youtube.

  • @csw300 Well what do you know. You're absolutely right. I didn't know that. Who'd a thunk it.

  • @nostology They actually did sample it, the original is fucking cool too.

  • Can look like Afrirampo, AWESOME!

  • Tool and Radiohead? I don't think so lol

  • Tool and Radiohead? Why not Ronan Keating and Celin Dion?

  • @MustBeUnearthed Boredoms are 10x better than both :p

  • This is kind of like a bjork styled video. Reminds me of the one with the moth. I like the drums and the silly faces that guy with the mask is making, lol.

  • does anybody have this song?

    i waanaaa!

  • this was at the nyc childrens film festival..

  • I saw it. It was even the intro.

  • HELL NO

  • XD XD XD

  • videos awesome

    sound..is rather annoying

  • eye luh dat

  • kim gordon plays in this band isnt she?

  • no Yoshimi the guitarist vocalist for this band plays drums for Free Kitten which is the band that Kim Gordon is in.

  • Reminds me of Michel Gondry's directing.

  • this is the first time I ever heard this band and me likes.

  • ほぉぉぉぉーーー

  • damn right

  • I think that's the point. It's great.

  • As much as I like OOIOO, I just cannot get past this song's cheerleader chants. :/ Video's kinda cool though.

  • hey can sombody gimme the jist of what the lyrics are about?

  • as far as i know, these words are invented

  • That's what I like about it. Tribalish drumming, chanting, etc.

  • Aw. I like more of their Gold And Green and Feather Float stuff. I LOVE Mountain Book.

  • The boredoms.00100 are the best jam band of all time! Fuck fish

  • The boredoms are awesome!! Melt banana is pretty fucking awesome too

  • Melt Banana is fucking awsome. Not to forget the Ruins, Boris,Acid Mothers Temple, sob, merzbow, and so on.

  • cool this is the best:P

  • are u high?

  • yoshimi is eye is god is you is me and we are all together

  • hahaha, true true. I got a chance to see the boredoms live this past april. It was definitely a spiritual experience.

  • I love the solarpaneel guy. He looks like me!

  • N.A.S.A.'s interest in the moon is well known. There's no need to get pushy! The fine folks at N.A.S.A. will definitely want to have a hand in an actual manned-moon mission. Trust and faith, and our money, are all that N.A.S.A. demands.

  • oi! i l;ove it

  • THAT WAS REALLY COOOL

  • HAHAHAHAHAAHA, Damn the vocals are so funny, hahaha I'm shitting myself here! XD goes to favorites!

  • O.O I dont know how I found this.

  • I love ooioo since always<3

  • right-o then

  • i first heard this song on current tv its now one of my favourite's

  • Brillant

  • War wohl nichts mit Fettschrift.

  • i love the drums so cultral

  • ..do u even kno what being cultural means?

  • so cultural

  • ...It's like a bad trip. D:

  • I think the bear is the crucial aspect of the video. I always watch for it!

  • The Japs are like 200 years far away from us...

  • I like both the music & video.

    Check this out!

    You won't regret.

  • I never made an argument against exploitation, as long as it is done correctly and carefully.

  • Yes, but rational use and irrational use are distinct actions. By the way, you are also assuming a hard determinism.

  • I love this, I watch it when I feel low. Makes me high n smiles. I first saw this at a showing of animated film festival, blown away. Gorgeous. Lotta lovely work went into this n it is much appreciated.

  • i'm pretty well tattooed, and thoroughly enjoy the band's work, particularly on mani.

  • GENIAS

  • I think its pretty soothing to the ears. For all those who hate this, think about all those shitty screaming grindcore/death metal/powerviolence/screamo bands that are out there. I dunno about you, but i prefer this.

  • Pete Best Never!!

    The Boredoms Forever!!

  • odd,but i like it ^^

  • we should be thankful that they're praying for us. trees were here first and we wouldn't be here if it weren't for trees. love the earth, love mother nature, recycle, spend less and live more.

  • how weird.

  • this guy wants to be Michel Gondry so bad.

  • And why? (no offence, just curious)

  • i just think this video has a lot of similarities to Gondry's sort of analog, handmade, stop-motion type of filmaking. the characters and animals are being used in conjunction with found toy objects and strange lighting conditions. no problem at all, i love Gondry and this video as well, just noting that Gondry seems an obvious influence.

  • wonderbar!

    perhaps

    coyote

  • Wow... that was actually pretty cool... and whoever insults something that took THAT MUCH WORK deserves to be used as the drum for the next song.

  • Wow, this is so Go-Gos.

  • See!? See!? Drugs are bad!

  • see!? see!? stupid people can´t understand

go to your mom´s house and listen to britney spears asshole

  • wot amazing animation!

  • yeah ooioo rule i hope they tour soon. did anyone catch the boredoms? i caught then in glasgow and i met yoshimi and eye after the show in the bar. they are really sound

  • @crouts0 So jealous. I want to see Boredoms when they come to the UK this year, but they are playing in London which is a long and expensive train journey away. I hope they add a few more UK dates, like if they did play Glasgow again I could get a train there quite cheap and I have a friend with a floor to nap on.

  • Funny lol

  • nah, i prefer the original, even though i only heard it thru ooioo.

  • 正直、つまんねぇ。

    こういうのは、どうでもいいわ。思い付きだけだな。

  • shoop da whoop!

  • See! See! Drugs are bad MMMkay
