@TheFavoriteGirlx the 9780 has a better camera and comes with os6.. .its a little faster and they changed some other little hardware differences the 9780 is just better so i would recommend it other than this one

I totally agree. Im a former BBerry 8530 user now using an Droid Incredible...the droid is awesome but for efficiency and ease of use the tradtional BB form factor is the way to go. Perfect size and weight. Im thinking of switching to Tmble for a 9780!.....but I might wait.....new BBs are coming (9900!)

I have this blackberry and it is my second one. I had to replace because one of my rubber cases put too much pressure on the lock and sound on/off button. Make sure when you get this phone is to put a case that has both buttons exposed. Another thing is YouTube isn't the greatest unless on wi-fi. Other than that it's a great phone.

I own Curve 9300 and Bold 9780 is waaay better: the screen resolution, sharpens and clarity, camera quality with flash, battery life, speakers, keyboard (more soft, without clikcy sound), back cover is very sturdy - no squicking sounds either and it's faster (more memory). I wouldn't go with Curve anymore.

@Issaland i actually have the 9330 Curve its ok, but im only 16 and when i text in class its horrible it makes noise., and for other such reasons internet is slow, battery life goes out quick. if i have my phone locked and i dont use like for half hour my battery will be gone, and now i havent decide to pick the torch in white, or the bold from sprint, or the 9780and now i've decide to buy the 9780 because alot of the comments im hearing about and yours.

Hi radiogirl and other people ho owns BB Bold. I just bought my first Bold from Amazon. It's unlocked and great device. But I see some minor assembly faults on this device: the metal frame beside the right side of the screen is moving a little bite and making crackly sound when I press on it. The screen around is very "pressy" too. And when is dark in the room and I have my BB on I can see a bit light coming from the gap between screen and metal frame. So I am thinking to return this model.

you can clean the back cover when you take it out.. clean it in soapy water or dishwashing liquid and use a used toothbrush to brush it out (may sure that it's not too dirty though)

@countroshculla if you can afford it, skip the 9700 and get the 9780, the OS and new chipset make all the difference and gives the phone with the same form factor, more features (like universal search, multiple browser windows, very snappy 5meg. camera, more memory etc). I had the 9700 and thought the 9780 was a waste of time to get but i was so wrong. its much better.
