Resident Evil Zero was originally due to be released on the N64 and, although the cut scenes look cutting edge, many of the in game graphics are grey and grainy. It features many disgusting insect enemies which is not as satisfying as firiing at crimson head zombies. RE0 features a mansion but it's not a big 'classic' mansion like the REmake. RE0 will be better than many games out now but, in the Resident Evil canon, it's not that great.

None of them got very far before expiring, either >.< It would've been the same as the first game only different characters.

Resident evil 0, 1, 2, 3, Code veronica, 4, 5, umbrella chronicles and darkside chronicles, are all main storey, Outbreak file 1 and 2 along with gaiden, survivor 2 (also know as dead aim) and the 2 games that are due for this year revelations and operation raccoon city are spin offs... alot of people believe the first survivor is apart of the main story, but some disagree. Personally I believe it is. :-

There is the Downloadable content for resi 5 which is also main story andd the CgI film degeneration which is apart of the main story and theres an upcoming 2nd cgi movie which will also be apart of the story.... the accual movies have absolutely NOTHING to do with the resident evil universe and only complicate things.
The only bad thing about this game......and it was pretty bad, is that there were no item boxes. You can hold 12 max between the Rebbeca and Billy, but shotguns and grenade launchers take two slots. I left everything in the training facility and I didn't think I'd ever get it back, but you do.
the ambient sound in the background when they get out of the helicopter and find the truck is the same sound in half life 2 when you leave the trainstation in the beginning... just something i noticed :S
i love how they made RE0 its scary like,leach zombies and every corner you enter in every door,you get this chill down on ur spine it makes the game more tence,but what i did not like about the game was their are no storage cases to store your idems in.but other than that its still a great game,i like how they made scary lay outs,and you get to play rebecca or billy :)
i think, umbrella is like representing the goverment wide power and how his doings have impact on the people sometimes a terrible impact (wars, poverty, corruption, conflicts, etc). and S.T.A.R.S. team are like the people that still "fight" and focus on resolve these problems. (a writer's symbolism maybe?, though i haven't read the novels)

Even though some of the mechanics of Zero were a bit flawed, I respect it a lot because it was the last game that was true to the original style of Resident Evil.

Resident Evil was the shit, I'm gonna collect them all, so much nostalgic moments back in them days man, its like I play these games know and puzzles that would take me like hours to figure out when I was younger, I get them done in near moments
Not a bad game, but having to backtrack because you left an item and the fact that there are no backpacks or storage chests made the experience frustrating. Out of all the RE games that matter, this is my least favorite.

the ambient sound in the background when they get out of the helicopter and find the truck is the same sound in half life 2 when you leave the trainstation in the beginning... just something i noticed :S

i love how they made RE0 its scary like,leach zombies and every corner you enter in every door,you get this chill down on ur spine it makes the game more tence,but what i did not like about the game was their are no storage cases to store your idems in.but other than that its still a great game,i like how they made scary lay outs,and you get to play rebecca or billy :)

i think, umbrella is like representing the goverment wide power and how his doings have impact on the people sometimes a terrible impact (wars, poverty, corruption, conflicts, etc). and S.T.A.R.S. team are like the people that still "fight" and focus on resolve these problems. (a writer's symbolism maybe?, though i haven't read the novels)

@reniisgod Yea, but I think you have to give RE0 some props for trying for originality. This was something different to try to re-imagine the feel of the game ; RE5 just tried it again.

i love resident capcom and i love resident evil, but resident evil 0 is stupid (in my opinion) i mean why can't she just jump out a window or something. i think it would make more sence if the game happened in the forest. but thats just what i think

Resident Evil was the shit, I'm gonna collect them all, so much nostalgic moments back in them days man, its like I play these games know and puzzles that would take me like hours to figure out when I was younger, I get them done in near moments

Not a bad game, but having to backtrack because you left an item and the fact that there are no backpacks or storage chests made the experience frustrating. Out of all the RE games that matter, this is my least favorite.
