I dont play WoW anymore as it for me has gotten too old. I recently got back into strategy and fps games. One of which was warhammer 40k dow2 chaos rising/vanilla. blizzard gave up on Warcraft rts, so i figured warhammer will surpass blizzards warcraft rts series. I've been playing WoW for about 3 years, but I've always been more fascinated with the Warhammer universe. Warhammer looks a lot cooler than WoW, but the only difference is that WoW is a bit more polished, but it's honestly losing its appeal. I might try Warhammer out in the future. WoW might have been OUT before Warhammer Online, but I know that Warhammer has been around since 1983, Warcraft started in 1992, StarCraft also copied from the 40k universe. I've played WoW for almost 6 years so far (will be the 6th year on Sept 4th this year) and I must say, I've enjoyed BOTH games. WAR is more fun for me, but WoW has lower computer reqs, if I could play WAR I would, but my comp can only handle WoW. =/ I think WAR is better, that's my opinion though. WoW just expands their game fast enough and takes other games ideas. Such as Achievements, Titles (PvE titles), and Leveling through PvP. All WAR ideas btw. Now WoW has them. Copiers imo.
