i got a celebi without doing this glitch! i put my gold version in the n64 and took it out at the wrong time and all the pokemon in the pc where diffrent pokemon! And my macargo turned into celebi! btw i just got a shiny cindaquill!

OK something REALLY odd and idk if its right lol (i hope you get back to this soon lol) so i was doing the cheat and I did the shut off for the bad clone....so i turned it back on and checked my box and it says the name as Lapras O_o is that...uh the pokemon it became or something? i did everything like i was supposed to. and i mean, its the same level as the others..so confused.
The coach came as my Celebi OT / E which is the last letter of my coach, which is called "Spyke", and when I check the "stats" of my Celebi appears whenever a level more than it really is!
Another thing was that I got items in my bag as teru-sama, HM09 (I tried to use it, but I soon realized that he was not on my list of TMs but in my pack, it only gets written to me to make pokemon hold the item ... I also won two other items buggy that I can not remember the names ... I want to know how to catch a Mew and Mewtwo with this amazing glitch! xD
And the really strange thing happened after the bug was completely bugou my pokedex, pokemon showing that I have / had and removing Pokemon that I really have, for example, was showing my pokedex I owned a mew ...
Really a very good glitch ... I got a Celebi level 7 (first did not I put a rare candy on it, but he was going to level 134 and back to 7 several times, so when I put a rare candy to level was 8 and became a normal Celebi, and incredibly was usually on my pokedex, I did not need to change ...)
Also, the Pokemon I put at the top of my party did not get deleted, it just had its nickname changed into my Trainer name. The only problem I ran into was that my Celebi did not immediately show up on my Pokedex. I had to trade it from Gold to Silver and back and then it showed up. If you don't have both versions, I don't really see a point in doing this glitch anyway because you can't get all 251, so this problem is rather minor. Have fun using this glitch. It works very well.
I just did the glitch again. I got a level 100 Celebi with Octazooka, Psych Up, Karate Chop, and Belly Drum. It was holding a Moon Stone (awesome) and the original trainer is "ul" which is the last two letters of my trainer name. Since I don't have Pokemon Stadium, I simply left the Bad clone in the daycare so I didn't have to release it. No problems with the game. Use the glitch.
@nathanielisaboss You have to beat the Elite Four because it's impossible to get a Sneasel without beating the Elite Four. They are only found at Mt. Silver.
@giantsfan879 I did it on Silver version. It works a lot better if you try to make a bad clones with multiple Pokemon. I deposited four Sneasels at a time and it only took me like five tries to get a bad clone.
@Sephia619 It works best if you use a box that is nearly full (15+ pokemon) and you deposit multiple Pokemon at once. Turn the game off right before any of the Saving text appears and right after you press yes to overwrite the data as opposed to what the video says. I've done it plenty of times and it works fine.
@AMERICANxxPSYCHO I know the attack moves hold the same codes as the pokemon, so every pokemon has an attack that goes with it, apart from that, it's just the following glitches to force the codes upon Celebi. It must have taken some sort of genius.

@MacintoshPlus1MB I didn't have any issues with glitches because my bad clone disappeared. I don't know what would've happened if that clone was still in my game, however. As with most glitches, it would probably be better to do it on a different game just to make sure, but if you don't have that option, I don't think it is too risky.
Basically it's up to you. If it's worth risking damage to your game (slight chance) to get Celebi, go for it because the glitch works, otherwise, don't.

(Its only in the japanese version of crystal, but its in the american version of g/s)
@apfrezende after defeating all 16 Gym Leaders, you will get a GS Ball after plugging in the Mobile Adapterand activating the Communication Center in the Pokemon Center in Goldenrod City. Take this to Kurt. After one day he will give you back the GS Ball. Take it to the Ilex Forest, put it in the shrine and a Level 30 Celebi will attack you. This feature was taken out of the English version of Crystal. You could just gameshark a GS ball if you're using an emulator and you want to catch it legit.

@kirayagami456 i have clonned a Kadabra level 39 with psichyc on 3rd move. I tryed to do the same but only the bad clone sprite changed to a Kingdra sprite, but not the pokemon. Bad clone was also same numbeer and level (lvl 39)

@Smorewazherr I doubt it's done in a trial-and-error procedure like that. More likely someone discovered that Beat Up has the same hex value as Celebi, then figured out the rest through knowledge of the game's code.

you know what? i tried to do this on my gold version. I COULD make good clones on Pokemon staduim 2, and I couldn't make bad clones. And when i tried, it said GAME FILE CORUPPTED! so i had to restart. (I don't have a gameboy, so i couldn't try it on there)

i tried this and i got it on my second try :D the first time i did it i made a bad clone but when i gave the clone 2 the day care lady she lost it, i was like wtf? can that even happen i was about to get the cop right outside the building lol but second time i tried it , it worked perfectly

We tried that bad clone thing with Stadium 2.
We got a whole bunch of good clones (which you say is not possible this way) but no bad clone at all XD
We play the (German) Silver version. Is there a different way to get a bad clone on Silver?

Does anyone know a reason why I'm not able to play pokemon crystal on pokemon stadium 2 with 3 times the speed? I can play my silver and gold with 3 times the speed, but I have problems with crystal.

1st clone shiny pok (red gyara)in empty box then release the clone then clone desired pok to be shiny in the same box then save and turn off at last mili sec. Its equal hard

The only bad thing about this celebi, despite being real, is it's current EXP POINTS. As you can see at 7:46 it has 777162 EXP Points at Lvl.1

how the hell do people figure this stuff out.... and this glitch is only really necessary for crystal, because in gold and silver there is a secret legit way to find it. but its annoying as hell. but that same secret legit way was taken out of the american version of crystal. (Its only in the japanese version of crystal, but its in the american version of g/s)

@apfrezende after defeating all 16 Gym Leaders, you will get a GS Ball after plugging in the Mobile Adapterand activating the Communication Center in the Pokemon Center in Goldenrod City. Take this to Kurt. After one day he will give you back the GS Ball. Take it to the Ilex Forest, put it in the shrine and a Level 30 Celebi will attack you. This feature was taken out of the English version of Crystal. You could just gameshark a GS ball if you're using an emulator and you want to catch it legit.

@theloster that's why he said you shouldn't do this on your main save. i play on gold but i also have a save on silver that i only use to catch the few pokémon that i can't catch on gold and i use that save to do this glitch

i want to know.... how can i get a bad clone lvl 0 if im playing in pokemon in my cellphone? its the american version emulated on java MeBoy emulator. Works as normal, but when i clone the bad pkmn, its just glitchy name and sprite, but same pokedex number and level... so how do i do it?

@kirayagami456 i have clonned a Kadabra level 39 with psichyc on 3rd move. I tryed to do the same but only the bad clone sprite changed to a Kingdra sprite, but not the pokemon. Bad clone was also same numbeer and level (lvl 39)

@Smorewazherr I doubt it's done in a trial-and-error procedure like that. More likely someone discovered that Beat Up has the same hex value as Celebi, then figured out the rest through knowledge of the game's code.

you know what? i tried to do this on my gold version. I COULD make good clones on Pokemon staduim 2, and I couldn't make bad clones. And when i tried, it said GAME FILE CORUPPTED! so i had to restart. (I don't have a gameboy, so i couldn't try it on there)

@1boo2go3 Of course it does. You only need to have the level 57 sneasel with beat up in 3rd slot to do it, and I swear it doesn't only have to be crystal.
