  • I hope I can stay that calm and happy for the rest of my life :)

  • Thanks Adya, Thanks tktoadE for uploading. Much appreciated!!!!

    Love

  • Thank you for uploading this my friend, you have helped many realize that they didn't need any help in the first place. Everything is just as it is.

    Much love,

    :)

  • You mean it's not a Royale with cheese, it's still a Quarter Pounder?

  • Excuse me, but with respect what the fuck is he on about?

  • Hes talking about consciousness being the only thing that is always there, everything else - your mind, your mind - change, but you do not

  • check out some of alan watts thoughts. i know ppl refer to theese people as sages, mystics, masters... but in fact they are only trying to point to something tey realized which cant be put into words. ive found some of alan watts teching most benficial to understand what theese kind of ppl are talking about. feel free to ask me if you have questions about this.

    namaste

  • Actually "jagara1" you put it quite rightly but not in as elegantly as Adyyashanti's words. This is what he is saying about awareness and confusion. " What the fuck ?"

You are on your way to awareness whether you like it or not !

  • He's a slimey, greedy cunt out to make money out of people's stupidity.

  • @cspace1234nz :s lol

what facts do you base that statement on?

    hes seems quite legitimate

  • They all seem legitimate, they wouldn't get followers if they didn't have the right angle.

Rev. Jones and David Koresh all seemed legitimate at the start too.

Here's a thing....does he charge for what he does or is his teaching so valuable to a lost world that he dispenses it free of charge for all to share in ?

  • @cspace1234nz The fact that he is uploading it seems like it is free, is there anything you know contrary to this? I'm not claiming I know, it is possible he is a scam artist, the things he says and the ways he say them seem to transcend any type of normal BS

  • @Kitcomedy i can say 100% FOR SURE ,I KNOW WHERE HE IS COME FROM HE DID NOT TECH IT TO ME GOD DID . HE IS NOT TALL ABOUT BELIEFS OR BELIEF SYSTEMS ARE ALL GOVERNMENTS, ALL RELIGIONS ALL LAWS AND MORE MORE LIKE WHAT YOU SEE NOT THE THOUGHTS OF WHAT YOU SEE. ITS MORE TOO THEN THAT BUT THATS THE BASIC OF IT . MOST THOUGHTS DEVISE YOUR THOUGHTS .YOU HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH THOUGHTS NOT AWARENESS AND REALITY NOT A GOOD THING YOUR BELIEFS SEPARATE YOU FROM OTHER PEOPLE NOT TRUTHANDLOVE

  • to understand you have to be in a meditative state, when the mind is silent of thinking, you will find what he is talking about.

  • i love how everyone is making fun of adya and these teachings...i meen its funny...and im sure he wud think its funny as well but i feel like regardless of how ridiculous these philosophies sound there is still sumthing undeniably true in them

  • well he means to say you cant mess with space. He says air, but what he means with it, is the space between the molecules in the air.

  • it;s just an analogy...

  • You really know how to miss a point.

  • The funny thing is he probably is making it up as he goes along.

  • Have no doubt about it. Its all made up on the spot. And it doesn't matter either.

  • Why come here just to bag him?

  • Its not bagging him because intelligence is in the moment.

  • slikemilia007, even my seven year old child understands what a metaphor is. Very strange that you, who are presumably much older than seven years, don't understand metaphor, analogy, non-literal use of language. Literal mindedness is the root of all misunderstanding.

  • sun of mind

    forever shines

    effortlessly

  • i find adya hilarious

  • enlightenment is unimportant remember that..what falls away is whats important

  • everything is important

  • nothing is important...

jk! I don't believe that. But my ego was compelled to complete the circle of this conversation.

  • every notion is ultimately not true. the words are ultimately not true..you just cant grasp it

  • Hey, you are right about 'Nothing is important'.

No thing is important. When we have no thing we have everything, so in turn nothing is important.

    Love unto you Koele1!

  • Beautiful Adyanshanti, thankyou !

  • Doesn't breathing change the air in a room?

  • Haha clever ..But you still have not change the air the air has entered your body and still the same

  • you can mess with air, ever hear of pollutonion?

carbondioxide poisoning? I get it, just had to point out the flaw in the metaphor.

  • Every metaphor is flawed when attempting to explain the unexplainable, using words...also, there's nothing here "TO GET", because what is already here, has you.

  • Well really you are not changing anything in the air, you are just rearranging the particles.

  • what if im ill? i can fix myself like that? in one sec? that would be fuckin awesome.. i have stomach ache now..

  • good stuff

  • Wow

  • I like Adyashanti, but I think he should study some neuroscience and evolution so he can understand the nature of the human condition on a deeper level.

  • Adya suggest that realizing the unconditioned nature of us humans is what shall remedy our identification with our conditioned nature as humans.

  • The truth is that dogma is keeping us away from the truth.

  • Adyashanti is good looking. But he would look much better with long hair. It's the dogma that makes him shave his precious hair. Dogma is not truth.

  • Which dogma are you referring to? The dogma that he prefers his hair short? Or the Zen dogma? Which he seems to have shed a lot of from my experience with him. I have never heard him encourage anyone that they have to wear their hair or dress a certain way to realize reality. I do hear him say often to relax and to do the "next most obvious thing", whether that be doing the dishes or go get a haircut or not get a haircut for example.

  • For tktoadE: Hello, Thank you for your comment. I see him as being himself. I believe you that he uses his own personal sense instead of adapting the scriptures and teachings fully and without questions. I just ask a lot of questions myself all the time. I have to, in order to have a clear mind. If he loves his hair shaved that is ok. But if he shaved it because the Tibetan Buddhists shave their head 'in order to be pure', then it would be connected to dogma.

  • If i may add: always trust your feeling. If he makes you feel uneasy or appears unauthentic, don't apply force against that with logic. I feel very calm when i watch him, but i wouldn't listen to someone where i sense any bad vibe.

  • HiAdrian, I agree. I feel good listening to Adyashanti. I really like what he says. I just have objections against dogma in general.

  • He teaches to accept(surrender to) Life as it shows up in all its different forms whether it be your preference for long hair or his for short hair. I find this to be very freeing of unnecessary suffering.

  • Gee guys, don't worry. Don't worry about "dogma" either. If someone shaved their hair because of their tradition, that shouldn't be a problem either. Being free from dogma doesn't have to mean not doing anything which can be connected to dogma. There's no need to be dogmatic, and so also no need I think to be anti-dogma.

It's all pretty funny actually. Anyway, he can't be enlightened if he has short hair right?

  • ok thats good :)

  • i understand but what does hair have to do with enlightenment?

  • Cutting or making it longer does not make you unenlightened or enlightened.I understand if you chase enlightenment you will never find it but what makes you think that his hair style?

  • his exlanations, as well as the explanations of many neo-advaita teachers is ust to destroy false notions and beliefs. their wordsaren't gonna enlighten you, just give youa better idea of what that (enlightement) is all about

  • My directions weren't as good as I thought they were. The description box for THIS video is to the immediate right of the video that is playing. It has the "date added", "subscribe to", and then below that is the "(more)" button. Much love.

  • Do you want to hear lots more Adyashanti for free? Click the "(more)" button in the description section in the right-top hand corner of this page and you will see different links in blue. I personally enjoy the cd's that I have made from downloading these audio samples. Enjoy...

  • (jimmyp37 )"the very thing that has always existed is NOT a thing" Yes it is not a objectthat that you can have or see, you can only know it by being it. (I like John de ruiter)

  • when I think of life as being the present moment and really nothing else I shutter to my deepest core. "the very thing that has always existed is NOT a thing" 10,000 thousand lifetimes and nothing has changed...I believe that to my very core but I could never explain it like he does. Funny I searched for Krishnamurti and found him... no accidents.

  • I do not connect with Adyashanti, as intensely as i do with Eckhart Tollie. He does not seem to intrinsically poccess the inherent "presence" that Tollie radiants so wonderfully and powerfully. I feel Adyashanti is more or less going "through the motions" fulfiling expectation, rather then pouring fourth soul bearing spiritual poise.

  • A very good one - better said: Clear sight here & now - straight to the point - .... Yes, satsang is a funny thing ... who cares ? We do !

  • "The beauty of Self is that it's not a matter of acquiring anything, being held in high regard, or being seen or noticed. It's a matter of being the intrinsic beauty of what you are, that inner blessedness. To experience that deeply, just let it sink in, not as an answer but as a question: Could it be that this blessedness is what I am?"--Adyashanti

  • how does what he explain help one at all?

  • The Truth is a Fact! Don't mess with IT.
