  • I stumbled across this completely by accident. It's 6 in the morning and I'm maniacally LMAO before even finishing my first cup of coffee (half of which is now on my screen), which is some kind of miracle in and of itself. This is absolute dynamite, thanks so much!

P.S. I'm not Jewish, but who cares?

  • MODERN moses?

  • I love it!!!

  • :D What impressed me most was that Moses used a Mac, XP, Vista fusion OS. Look at 0:17, 1:28, 0:54

  • @ifeelverygood

Using Mac, XP, Vista fusion OS is also miraculous.

  • @Jetrothull How'd you pick up on that? Wow. But yes, it is miraculous!

  • This was an awesome video. I loved everything about. I happen to be Jewish. I like the way you made the Jewish story of Passover seem so awesome by making it look like Moses and Pharoah have computers. I like it. I also like the way you made them have facebook accounts, and also one of my favorite parts is when Moses is searching on Google Maps and typed in the Red Sea and then clicked street view with alll the slaves about to walk through while cheering.

    I Liked It :)

  • Lol, if only it was that easy.

  • 0:33 Look at the status :P

  • @ JAMIETNY - yabba yabba whatever ;-) same dif. Still spoils clip even if it is Exodus or Ten Commandments or Moses. I couldn't care less if it was Charlton Heston or Charlton Athletic Football Club, Burt Lancaster or Burt and Ernie from Sesame Street!

  • 192 anti-Semites watched this video.

  • Wow...i loved the video. Yeah it was a bit too fast so I had to pause and read sometimes but other than that, awesome. What a hillarious idea? :p ha ha

  • @c0bbl3rs

Which clip are you referring to? The one with the sea parting? To clarify, that is a clip from the movie "The Ten Commandments [1956], and the lead was Charlton Heston.

  • Super Cool video. Yea some people complained it was fast. Most people that work on computers for a living type that fast :P I dont. But its still a fun video, i was cracking up through the whole thing :)

  • Soooooo funny!!!!!!!!

  • :))

  • Editing was WAY TOO FAST!!! Couldn't keep up at all.

  • like if u stopped and tried doing all the things mo did.

  • Besides from the discussion if it's allowed to do (read chapter Exodus @ bible), I lolled so hard. Clear way to show a piece of bible story in an awesome, modern way.

Keep going! I'll look forward to the next modern story =D

  • Ha! This is what would happen if the whooole thing took place today? Or is there more to it...

  • You sir deserve a high five for this (:

  • Two guys, one gun fight. NEW FILM... Subscribe!

  • That was cute. I especially liked how the imagined murder of 659,236 innocent children was reduced to a 5 second animation of a Google Groups member list.

Nothing makes me ROTFL more than the thought of over half a million mothers burying their children.

  • And the Children of Israel cried out to God to save them. And the Lord spoke "Okay, but then you're all my bitches forever forthwith for nonsensically subjugating and restrictive holidays. And you shall know what true slavery means and that I'm yo daddy."

And the Children of Israel said "sure wtvr".

  • I had no idea Amazon let Moses buy 50 million frogs...

  • @chinesemathgeek1997 shipping's gonna be hell.

  • XD

  • How did you get the Egyptian hieroglyphics as a translate option in Google Translate?

  • who could dislike this?

  • It's too bad that there are such hateful people who still live in the world. If their energy was applied to the advancement of science and civility the world would be a much better place. Israel is the ONLY country inn the middle east that is a democracy with equality for all, women included.

  • C'est top :)

je le connais depuis un moment

  • Lol Moses uses vista

  • excellent though!

    it's so funny~

  • Excelent!!

  • Very well done! How did you create this movie?

  • the more times i watch this, the more the tiny embedded details come out. my personal fave is right in the beginning under the caption of "Pharoah Enslaves the Jews" the smaller heading "World leaders condemn Israel." Pretty much. It's funny because that is rather what it feels like - parody on the border of absurdity.

  • i actually checked google translator to see if they had Egyptian >_>

  • Jethro was Moses's father-in-law :)

  • @JulCon

The Jews were living in Egypt at that time, (this was before G-d brought the Jews into the land of Israel.

)Jacob and the 12 tribes had come down with their families once Joseph the viceroy of Egypt revealed to his brothers that he in fact is their brother. The enslavement in Egypt happened years later after Jacob and his 12 sons had all died.

  • @Fashionshades

Yes, "The Jews were living in Egypt at that time."

    But...

it seems you were reading the Scripture not very attentively.

The Jews left Israel and WENT to Egypt because of bad harvest and failure of crops.

Then, they liked living in Egypt so much (and they were highly appreciated by the Pharaoh) so they started swiftly propagating and multiplying.

Then the Pharaoh saw that it may cause problems for his own people and only THEN he enslaved Jews to stop that multiplying.

  • @Fashionshades "Jacob and the 12 tribes had come down with their families"... not really 12 tribes just yet. Correct in the fact that his 12 sons would become the 12 tribes but you get the point.

  • @JulCon no at first it was nice in egypt all the jews moved there and then the Pharaoh was like he you know what i wanna use u as slaves

  • @Gorilla922

Pharaoh didn't ask Jews to move to Egypt, nor he invited them.

They moved to Egypt because THEY decided to do so by themselves, nobody asked them to do so.

It's like today's California and Arizona where the majority of population NOW became mostly Hispanics.

Pharaoh didn't want that to happen to his country.

  • @JulCon Actually Pharaoh did ask the Jews to move to Egypt. See Genesis 45:17-18. Where Pharoah tells Joseph to bring his father and brothers to Egypt.

  • @jkalla1

    "17. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Say unto thy brethren, This do ye: lade your beasts, and go, get you unto the land of Canaan;

    18. and take your father and your households, and come unto me: and I will give you the good of the land of Egypt, and ye shall eat the fat of the land."

    1. Canaan is not Egypt.

    2. "your father and your households" was not all Israelites.

    3. The invitation caused by famine in Israel, not an invitation to live forever: temporary help, not to misuse.

  • @JulCon Canaan is where the Israeliites lived. Pharoah sent Joseph and his brothers TO Canaan to bring them to Egypt.

    2. your father and your households was the entire Israelite people (70 folks).

    3. I'm not sure whether you are right or wrong about that but assuming that was Pharoah's intention and the Israealite's "overstayed" their welcome, why would that justify enslaving them, killing their children, using infants as building material and the many other terrible things.

  • @Gorilla922

Does anyone here know anything about ancient history? When neighboring peoples conquered other nations it was commonplace to enslave the entire population and either control them where they lived or ,moved them back to the the conquering country to be used as slaves. Slaves were considered wealth. Conquering other lands and possessing all the land and possessions. This had gone on for thousands of years in the ancient world. Latest example ,the Roman Empire.

  • @JAMIETNY i know that but he didnt conwuer

  • 0:09 transition from Chrome to Safari lol

  • @Pwnocles I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed that!

  • Awesome. If you go frame by frame you get all the very funny small details. I like the stone Kindle.

  • really funny if you know the true story

(Hanging out in midian. just met this graet girl! her dad totally awsome too. and passwort: basketbaby^^)

    well done!!!

  • That was greaaaat!! Best thing I've seen in a while...

  • Loved it. However, for us seniors .... it was a bit too fast to read and keep up. Our eyes do not focus quickly even with trifocals. Ask your grandfather what that means. Keep making the videos just slow it down a few milliseconds for us. I subscribed, so I'm waiting for your next YouTube. Get started. :)

  • @DazzleBear Pause the video when you need to read. I think its good that its fast so people with slow internet connection dont have to wait for a video to load just to read a text.

  • Jethro = The Man. :)

  • good

  • Man i am completely baked off my ass right now, like i swear to god i can barely see straight. I would just have to say this video was fucking insane when stoned, i would highly recommend you watch this video stoned!

  • 1:54 LOL

    "Hike through Sinai"

    God invited you

  • imma jew and i find this hilarious!

  • awesome!

  • I don't get why world leaders would condemn Israel when Egypt enslaved the Jews when shown on the news site? (And they weren't Jew yet, Jews are from Judah)

  • @edmundmetzold Well said and truth.

  • What's the deal with Pharaoh? That dude does not listen

  • How the details are captured is genius! Haha... *applaud*

  • @smzrodriguez The only thing retarded is your statement. If I don't like chocolate, I don't eat chocolate, I don't buy it, I don't go to chocolate stores to peruse chocolates delicacies I will never eat....in like manner, if you do not like jewish Heritage, Jewish culture or Jewish people, then don't hang out where the Jewish people play. And if your Jewish too, why the hate?

  • hehe, so many small details that work excellently with the plot.... Seller: Yad Hazaka...

  • very funny! :)

  • The best one! Chag Sameah!

  • awesome

  • Too bad none of it ever happened.

  • Pharoah to Moses

(Sent from my iPhone) - ha ha, that's perfect!

But who invented the Eletronics to message eachother in BC?

  • I love how pop culture can be relevant in any way.

  • Moses and Jethro are now friends!! LOL oh FB!!

  • LOL

  • LOL@ "street view"

  • Miriam's tamborine concert @ 1:53, HA!

  • Excellent piece. We need some humorous Bible interpretations. I just love this video.

  • this is so incredible funny and so well made xD

  • it's very funny i do like

  • I wish there was stuff like this from other fiction too! Like lord of the rings

  • @Goblonaut Big difference, LotR is fiction. The Bible ISN'T

  • @Quinadal where's the proof that the bible isn't fiction?

  • @Quinadal Sure, whatever, because there is no evidence backing up neither of them, they must be fiction or you can rely on faith to believe that god or hobbits exist ;)

  • The one bit they missed is when God broke in to Pharaoh's Facebook account and changed his heart status for him.

And at 1:25, the music and animation put a fun, light-hearted spin on the massacre of 600,000 people.

  • @cypherpunks67890 659,237 people!

  • @cypherpunks67890

huh!? 600,000 people? Where does that number come from? You do realize that this story is fictitious?

  • @michpottier

    Really? Were you there?

  • @RetSquid No, but you and nobody else was there physically. This comment is bizarre. We do have things called history and archeological due process, and when people throw random numbers out there and treat legend and myth as fact, we all take a step back. By your reasoning anything that wasn't video taped for posterity is open for gross interpretation. I could state that Julius Cesar went to the moon, and since nobody is alive from the time to refute it, It must be treated as a real possibility.

  • @michpottier

No, my reasoning is that he thows out a random number, and that YOU believe the entire thing is fiction. Much of the Bible has been proven (or not disproven) with archeology.

  • @RetSquid Okaaay well there is so many things wrong with this statement, it would take a week to explain. PASS

  • @michpottier

Good. I'm glad you realize your position was untenable.

  • "My staff just turned into a snake!"

I hear there's pills for that.
