  • OUTSTANDING BROTHER GREAT TUNES.....

  • only hooker could sit through the whole song and have more stage presence than most people who jump all over the stage

  • And, this Guy and the like were influenced by ragtime, jukejazz and gospel. All black Americana. Rap and hip-hop house, go go, etc...will be this generations contribution, 80's - now

  • @grenadeserenade also, did your mom ever have any children that lived? Dumbfuck...

  • @grennadeserenade why did white folks steal it and white do white buy rap more than any other?

  • @mrdysgo That's a separate discussion. I don't like it anymore than you do.

And, if you're asking me if my mother has any living children, reevaluate your own dumbfuckery. Dumbfuck.

  • Why couldn't Blacks have stuck to this kind of music?

  • @grenadeserenade Evolution, few thing's if any stay the same .

  • true. there are better live versions of him doing this. love'm

  • I know George Thorogood gets his influences from such Blues influences such as Johny Lee. It's obvious why.

  • -----sounds Good to Me !! ---- :-))

  • tahts for me i dont care what your drinking :)

  • saw him live at hammersmith 20 years ago,the best gig i ever saw with 2 hours of bliss!!

  • This is why I don't listen to the music they make these days!

  • Bueno

  • i need one burbon one scotch one beer2listen2 todays garbage they call music lol

  • THE MUSIC

  • I just love his version of this song!AWSOME

  • They just don't make music like this anymore

  • This is really has an overproduced sound for JLH. He has some much better versions out there....where's my rocks glass? I'm going to go find some better John lee Hooker. Boom, Boom, Boom!

  • 101 Dislikes on this & Mr. John Lee Hooker - THAT'S 101 COMPLETE IDIOTS WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT TALENT OR THE ROOTS OF REAL MUSIC .... THE BLUES BABY #1

  • wish i had the privilege to see him. he,s a master

  • MEEEELOOOW!! Happy New Year!!!

    Daniel Léo Simpson

    Composer

    San Francisco

  • Pay ,, ing respects !

  • ...Wait, this is John Lee Hooker?? Oh shit, I seriously thought this was B.B. King's song. Well that proves how much I know about blues hahahaha but no matter. I still love this song :D

  • @PrincessPeach237 It was originally recorded by Amos Milburn.

  • This song is dope! My dad got me hooked on it...damn you, daddy!!! LoL

  • This was when rock still had "roll" to it!

  • I always thought this was george thorogood's song...

  • @NASCARGUY51139 Much of the music from the past has been redone like this one. Ted Nugent's "Baby Please don't go" is another example of an old blues tune and tons of others likewise.

  • 100 people need a strong shot of

alcohol to kill the bug up their ass

  • Coolest guy to ever walk the planet I do meetings and I still love this!

  • jeeaaaaaaa

  • one joint one blunt one pipe

  • Comment removed

  • One bourben, one scotch, one beer, one blunt.

  • best version, followed by george thorogood, followed by the original by amos milburn. Glee version not even on the list due to crimes against music

  • @johnas1011 Oh please Don't tell me they did a cover of this on that freakin' stupid TV show!!!!

  • This is just rather a slack miming and play acting front to a pre-recorded studio track and doesn't deserve the viewing numbers. Search out the genuine live performances. Good music though.

  • download link of this please??????

  • saw him at hammersmith odeon(shows my age) about 20 years ago. best blues gig i ever saw, nearly 2 hours of musical heaven.rip john lee.

  • More than supernatural....there is no words..

    ==rocky

  • Music just ain't what it used to be.

  • i wish i had 10% of mr hookers style and talent !

  • i cant even see the dislike bar soo who gives a shit bout those fuckers

  • He's like a DADDY to me

  • He's as cool as they get. He knows the Blues.

  • The music is good, but I have always felt that most of the videos out there are quite lame, and this one is no exception. All the goofy footage, most of it totally irrelevant to the music, is just distracting. A live, unedited video of J.L.H. playing the song would have been far superior.

  • I've had two beers, no scotch & half a bottle of Jack Daniels. That's about as close to JLH cool as I can get.

    Legend.

  • Weed > Alcohol

  • JOHN LEE HOOKER IS AWESOME, HE REMINDS ME OF A BROKENHEARTED WITCHDOCTOR! ;o)

  • A la tienne , J.L.H. !

  • I like the dog

  • look at him chiilin in his chair. what a legend!

  • this is the lazy version of singing this song

  • @kickinbackinmychair Is there a non-lazy way off singing "one bourbon, one scotch, one beer"?

  • @joshuaw33 well i like this version but its a lot different and funny cause it seems like he left a lot of words out, thats why i called it the lazy version. teehee

  • @kickinbackinmychair yeah, this version ain't too great. John Lee's "original" version, kicks butt. It's no wonder that a blues-rocker like Thorogood, wanted to do a cover.

  • Thanks father

  • R.I.P Johnny Lee..............

  • when it's last call for alcohol, I get one bourbon, one scotch, one beer

  • Funny how there are children in this video...

  • I was cruising blues section of Youtube when I took a wrong turn and got in Spanish flamenco guitar section. I thought I was gonna die !!! I backtracked and here I am happy again. This is one of the best videos on Youtube, Oscar for editing. You wanna feel good, check Shazza - Bajo Bongo or Johan Blohm boogie woogie, or boogie woogie dance by Silvan.

  • thumbs up if you knew this before george thurgood ;)

  • @thezepp925 Lucky me, I knew John Lee Hooker's music a long time ago. I don't share his thirst, though. It's one Jameson, one Jameson , and one Jameson. Rinse, repeat.
