It is clear in the fight that Byakuya defended Ichigo's sword and summoned another Senbonzakura katana from his senkei to stab Ichigo's foot, just so he can't move. Byakuya then shot a lightning bolt from through Ichigo's chest and killed him for a moment. Ogichi saw and opportunity to overwhelm him and he took advantage of that, thus getting Byakuya unsuspectingly.

In the fight between Ulquiorra and Byakuya, sadly I would have to go with Ulqiourra. Though Byakuya is more versitile than Ichigo, Ulqiourra would most likely win due to his speed. Flash Step or the speed of senbonzakura may not be able to keep up.

I think it would be an interesting fight between the two, much more interesting than the fight between Byakuya and the 7th espada, Byakuya beat him so easily. I think Byakuya might have beaten Ichigo if he had gone all out to begin with, but he's so arrogant he underestimated him. Of course Ichigo had to win for the story's sake.

I like ichigo, but compared to Byakuya he is kind of a one trick pony. The only way he outmatches Byakuya is in sheer power, which he still does I believe. Byakuya has more techniques he can use with his bankai, is proficient with kido, and of course he has those shunpo techniques "that woman" taught him.

@1serb1aco1 ogichi is a part of ichigo's soul and instincts. you dont know why ogichi came out is because you didnt listen to him when he explained everything. byakuya lost to ichigo's wild survival instincts which were activated when he was losing. its a kind of adrenaline boost but only your darker side takes control over you. ogichi is basicly ichigo's dark side you may call these 2 personalitys different persons but it all comes to the same body and power who kicked byakuya's butt

Of course since Ichigo is the main character and can only lose so much, Kubo had to make Byakuya say he won. Then as Ichigo fell to the floor in shock and severely wounded, Byakuya flawlessly shunpoed away only to get stabbed some more by Gin. A group of people rushed to Ichigo to save him from the urge of death while Byakuya took a sword trough his chest like a man only to save Rukia. I mean please think

Byakuya cannot defeat Ulqiorra, but their fight would be amazing and long. Because Capitan Kuchiki is very skilled fighter, and a great master of kido.

That's quite old game. In a fact, there is no chance for Byakuya, to defeat Ulquorra. In his resurrection form, Ulquorra could kill anything! If it will be necessary, he even could use his second resurrection form. All what Byakuya will understand before die, one of Ulquorra's gold phrases: OWARIDA.. =))))
