  • There are lots of breeds (and mixed breeds) that are good for pulling a sulky. However the chinook is bred for characteristics that are excellent. For example, they do not fight with other dogs. This is important because loose dogs on the trail tend to come right into their faces.

  • Chinooks look like the perfect dog for this! I've done some reading on them and I'm so glad people are working to maintain the breed.
