Cthulhu isnt god of anything. He is the ancient and immortal magician/priest of the gods Azathoth, Yog-Sothoth, Shub-Niggurath, and Nyarlathotep. That's Issyk Kul, a big salty lake in the mountains of Kirgyzstan (ex-Soviet Union, not to be messed with Pakistan and other -stans :)). It's really nice out there and the prices are low, that's the main attraction. :)

Dagon is from another story. There's a videogame called "The Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of The Earth", and you fight Father Dagon and Mother Hydra as bosses, and Lovecraft wrote a story called "Dagon" which is about these fish-people and has connections to "The Shadow over Innsmouth", which is what the Call of Cthulhu game is based on.
