Akram also was never fully tested against arguably the greatest team ever (that of the aussies between 1992 and 2006/7).

@syedjahangirshah1 Agreed. Fast bowlers with a rapid arm action have a very lethal bouncer. Wasim and Marshall were two best exponents of that. It's a bit of a surprise that neither of those two feature in this video.

@powerinvader I learnt this pretty quickly. Was first struck on my jaw on a matting wicket when I was 13 and lost 3 teeth :-) Many times since then and I find that each hit mentally toughens you up.
Am not as brave as you though. I have never worn arm or thigh guard or any of the other stuff. But facing club bowlers many of whom clock 125 kph + (myself included) without helmets is playing with danger. A 125 delivery on the temple can actually kill you!
@1622matt u know at they also chuck it is not full arm. if lee and akhtar chuck the bowl would go beyond 150mph. baseball players catch with their gloves. in cricket no gloves other than wk.
@1622matt agree with you bro but baseball players or pitchers are allowed to throw with the elbow angled which is called chucking and is illegal in cricket, whereas the bowlers in cricket have to rotate their arms without bending their arms n elbows which takes allot more effort even after a run up.

@1622matt u know at they also chuck it is not full arm. if lee and akhtar chuck the bowl would go beyond 150mph. baseball players catch with their gloves. in cricket no gloves other than wk.

@1622matt agree with you bro but baseball players or pitchers are allowed to throw with the elbow angled which is called chucking and is illegal in cricket, whereas the bowlers in cricket have to rotate their arms without bending their arms n elbows which takes allot more effort even after a run up.
