Why are there some people who think Nama is Martina? Nama is a pretty good sorceress while Martina could only put a caurse on people and those were powered by sheer obsession. Also, Martina is married to the Zangulus and probably trying to rebuild her kingdom. Why would she be following butterfiles to old ruins and raiding the place? Also, you could see Naga's glove when she reached for the jar at the ruins as well as her shadow which had long hair, Martina has short hair.

@turkeygod But "Martina" isn't really very close. The Armour says specifically "Yes! Nama! That is Nama's name! Or something like it, anyway..." Not a direct quote, but "Naga" is way closer to "Nama" than "Martina" is. And I felt Martina's laugh was more high pitched, and less.... "oohoho"y? XD But maybe that's just me.
@turkeygod Lina's "That laugh.... but it couldn't be..." reaction makes it seem more like Naga, too, since Naga's laugh is internationally famous, while Martina's more famous for spouting nonsense about the Monsterous Zolmogustar (totally guessing on the spelling, by the way.) Plus the purple decoration on the helmet felt to me like they were trying to make it look like Naga's hair. :3 -gets shot for picking apart theories and writing to much-
@TerrifeyedProduction Another tell tale sign that Nama is Naga is that not only does she get along well with Amelia, she inexplicably knows the Pacifist Crush without direct guidance from Amelia. Only a member of the Seiruun royal family would know that! :D
@XellosgirlBrooke It's different cause it wasn't done by the same people that did the TV series. Because of the TV show's popularity, ADV snatched up the OAV and Movie rights away from CPM they came up with their own names for the spells and stuff. So, that's why it's different.
@genredleader - You have to admit though, they both have their charm. The CPM version is much more nostalgic and rolls off the tongue better, while the ADV version is much more poetic
As per usual nothing beats the series Slayers, Amelia's flagerasation of her energetic personality kinda annoyed me, especially when Zelgadaa was annoyed with her. Come on ZelgadaXAmelia LinaXGoury forever! Thanks for the upload though, it was a cute ova
I love these new voice actors! They really add more emotion to their repective characters! I hope that if Slayers Reveolution is dubbed that they use these voice actors!!
@cutekittenlady Ugh no way, Lisa Ortiz is a much better Lina and Eric Stuart is a much better Gourry. These actors are annoyingly noobish. This Amelia voice was ok, but Veronica Taylor is just a bit more child-like when she does Amelia. And David Moo does a way better Xellos. They did use Crispin Freeman in both the TV series and this for Zelgadis however.
@Ryuzaki492008 I disagree that David Moo does a way better Xellos. I think he is the worst whereas the guy doing the va for this Xellos is okay. Imo, Michael Sinterniklaas from the new series is the best. I prefer the new dubbed Xellos' voice because it fits the character so well and is very close to the japanese VA. Then again, each their own.
@Ryuzaki492008 The old voice actors, imo, are terrible. The only good one is maybe Lisa Ortiz and Crispin Freeman. However, the cast sounds a lot better in the new series. Maybe Funimation hired a better voice director, though I do think funimation tends to do a great job on dubs nowadays.
