These people knew that to disobey orders means either swinging from a rope,being shot or sent to a concentration camp to die.So according to the post war courts they should have all refused to obey orders and taken and a bullet as it was the "Morally" correct thing to do,even if it cost you your life.I'm stunned no one tried to overturn this ridiculous state of affairs.

Even if the post war courts used the excuse that "If you sacrifice your life you'll save the life of thousands of others", well, not really because those thousands of others would've been killed anyway. Synonymous to what the lorax said: "If I don't do it someone else will".

I can't possibly give this documentary any credit because there was one History Channel documentary which said Hitler's dead body isn't yet found, where could it be? In this they say Mueller's body wasn't found by Hitler's body what the hell? How do I know these are not made up stories. I know the Gestapo was brutal but did they really have that power over the country? Where they would have influence on the war? They're just a police force after all.

@MrFuhrer2009 When it comes down to Hitler, you hear all kinds of stories on various documentaries, but most historians agree that Hitler and Eva Braun killed themselves with cyanide and that, in accordance with his final wishes, their remains were burned.
As for the Gestapo, they really did have that much power over Germany ... indeed, the entire Third Reich as a whole, and the answer to how can be found in Part 1 of this 3-part series.

While there will always be men who will be wicked and tyrants, society's goodness must always be allowed to prevail to prevent such people from gaining a position of power.
