  • Superboringly designed Ryu-clone wins!

  • I'm getting tired of Akira winning so much.

  • That is good new. Better news would have been an announcement of a home console port.

  • @gakkerout 110% agree with you.

  • I loved the guard's stopping power against circular attacks in VF3. Taking that away shifted the balance of power to the quicker flashier styles in VF5. That and Akira's power was reduced too, VF5 is anti-Akira for some reason. Akira can't evade the circular attacks or reverse them, only block them which pushes you back.

  • @gakkerout Good news, guarding against circular attacks is back in Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown now. They call it Guard Snapping.

  • What does Akira say when he wins now? I didn't get the line he said at the end of this match.

  • i dont know how type it pronounced in english but i do know it meants "you're 10 years too early!" i think

  • I think not, anyway, I think I will ask my Japanese friend about that. Your translation is more close to "Junen Haiyandayo!", literally means: "You lack 10 years of practice (before fighting me)". The translation is similar to Kage's "syugyoratarin!" line, meaning "You lack of practice".

  • well yea i know what it sounds like in my head but yea thats exactly the one! now thats not gonna bug me any more

  • ju means ten

    nen means year/years

hayain means early.. as in hayako = hurry!

da mean is in english and io in the end is something they just add ..

so ten years too early.. in English you would say : "you are ten years too young to fight me" or whatever but where in the world did u get the word practice in that sentence ?" ;P

anyways just search youtube for akira quotes , there are clips with subs

  • I'm not surprisedmy translation confused you. I guess you translated this line better than me. But it does make sense because "too young" might mean Akira's opponent's age and it might mean by training and practice. So if we go for it literally, Akira's opponent needs to train and practice his skills for ten more years. So don't cancel it as an option.

  • 1:50 damn thats alot of damage

  • Can you make Jacky vs Akira

  • Akria vs Sarah in red Please in this

    stage as well

  • Rahh! AKira's shifting is sick! Great finish too!

  • Akria is such a SHOWOFF!
