HAVE an adjustible stroke. more stroke means more power. and i think the huge paddles dont look to cool...maby somthing more streamlined or just totally redesigned
I think it would be funner if the peddles were behind the rear axle and the handle bars extended back far enough for better posture. It seem like it would be more efficient to be pushing down rather than back and down with the feet. Also, if the riders weight was on the rear axle it would be easy to do wheelies and tricks. IMHO: No tricks = No fun! But I am no engineer. so this is just a quess
Batavus launched this product about 3 years ago in The Netherlands. It's a nice funstepper but for a small target group only. It will work in groups but I never saw an individual riding it.
Also the video shows it's obvious that users do not pay any attention at traffic or there environment. That is not a recommendation.
it is really dumb, a normal bicycle has evolved and offers what this dumb invention offers and much more. new does NOT mean better, in this case it has no point, it is totally idiotic design, it has no future. It is a Macarena at best.
why just why???

There doesn't seem to be a good range of motion here, will this like make you have funky muscles that are not practical when you get of this thing?

yeah , its the evolution of cycling , too bad we're arent evolved enough yet to use it.
I would like to see one of these though in the Tour De France or some other race involving hills against other bikes.
It might give some of the recumbent riders are run for their money !

I think it's not suitable for long distance cycling as you'll get tired quickly without a seat.
