I'm having problems playing cleanly with the thumb. I'm not sure which part of the thumb is supposed to be plucking the string: the outer-most tip with the nail, or the side of the thumb?
Also, when playing the 6-5-4 strings quickly and powerfully with the thumb, whenever I try to play the 5th string the vibrating 6th string hits the top of the thumb's nail and buzzes a little. How am I supposed to bring the thumb in without buzzing? I basically can't put it between the 2 strings.
