@TheVampireEquivoque They didn't - they changed 3 of the actors (for Mitchell, Annie and Herrick) from the pilot but all 3 seasons of being Human had the same cast, Aidan Turner as Mitchell, Russell Tovey as George, Lenora Critchlow as Annie and Jason Watkins as Herrick.

because things like twilight and trueblood are so popular the writers, now try and write for a larger target audience, so after series one and maybe 2 it starts to suck, but because being human is a lot more small time, the writers only write for a small specialized target audiece, making it better than the rest.

Every movies/series we like have their own special things which make the movies/series to that what we like them for! I love True Blood....but the writing on this show blows them out of the water.

There's less nudity and somehow...it's still makes HBO's show look prudish.

While I have characters on TB who's performances I find mesmerizing, there

are many many false notes with the (overly) large cast. Not so with this show.

It's tight, well paced, and the leads are utterly believable in their actions/motives.

That's quite the accomplishment in a show about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost. Can't wait for S03.

11cotton11mouth11, actually they have the vampire lore on the nose, if you had ever bothered to read dracula you'd have seen that dracula could go out during the day, he was weaker and couldn't do any of his shape shifting stuff, and he didn't like sunlight, but he could go out in it and it not melt him.
