Watch the film of Casino (Deniro,Peschi,Stone). The part of "day of reckoning", in the end! I think this Eric Burdon' s song, was a good idea in the film.
"Eric is the voice of the Working man", and Eric should be forevermore, the voice of the "day of reckoning"!

Greatest concert I've ever seen. I Can honestly say that The ca. 7 minutes version of House Of The Rising Sun were the happiest of my life and i had no bad life. But when you hear this man sing, you feel absolutely nothing but happiness!
It is so sad that the original "Animals" didn't stay together. Think of all of the top hits .they had in just the couple short years they were together. How many more they would have had if they stayed together like "Queen" or "The Beatles" did for so many years?
This is a good performance, but that SOUND the original "Animals" had is priceless!
THE ANIMALS:
Alan Price on his VOX is unmatchable, Hilton Valentine - lead guitar, "Chas" Chandler - bass and John Steel - drums, Eric Burdon - Vocals

{{{Thankyou}}} Beerputje, for your absolutely *fantastic* videos of Eric. House of the Rising Sun will always be a gem in the crown of pop history. To see him sing it is always a mesmerising and magical experience for me. Here's to the great Eric Burdon and The Animals for this gift of a record.
Not drunk? How about not stoned...not tripping!? He's starting to loose his voice here at age 45, but even still...He's still got IT GOING ON!!!

Loses his original characteristic.
The difference was too big with 1964.

Eric blasts it out, quite nice acoustic version, unsure about the German presenter getting all excited on his guitar? lol
