@WESKER96 The effort is worth it though. Two of the jobs I've successfully gotten, happened because I called. Basically I see it as prodding the employer to go and look for your application and pull it up from whatever dregs it might've drifted off to and it shows some confidence on your part. It's like an artist or musician posting fliers for their show all over the place, "hey! Come see my work cause it's awesome!"

what if the company u applied only does online status? they dont show any HR numbers to call even email. if ever they have is it still ok to call them up for status of ur application?

Most companies won't give phone info online. You have to do your own research to get the contact info.
