kwar is right, dont be swayed by some song on youtube. It is like a jury who leaves the court to go home to google, or read, come back, to see what they are swayed into, and then do it all over again. technoligy has changed our civil and criminal system.
I do have harsh feelings for this man. I'm friends with the victim's family and he destroyed them. He is guilty, do your own research, don't be swayed by some song on youtube.
Alan told me competition is what makes buisness, men. Alan would never kill this guy, Frank was nobody to Alan, these people dont know anything, just the easy way out of a long case, blame it on Alan, get the girl to say what we want, If alan was guilty, he would of hired oj's lawyer like I told him, he hired a lawyer that dealt with drug cases for less money , why, he was not guilty.
Scott, please don't feel sorry for me. I do know the facts of this case extremely well. Maybe you don't know them as well as you think. I am aware that there are many people in jail who should not be there but that is not the case with Alan. He is guilty. You would be doing yourself a favor by believing in that and maybe spending your time and energy by helping someone else who is truly unjustly imprisoned.
This is a great tune and expresses the artist's OPINION. Which, last time I checked, was his constitutional right. Whether or not you believe in Mackerley's innocence or guilt, you have to admire his talent & willingness to express himself. I just think a nicer pic of Lisa should be posted!! :)
You must have no life if you have time to post this crap about the sick and evil Mackerley. He is exactly where he belongs. Justice has been served. He murdered Frank Black in cold blood. People who testified against him had to go into the Witness Protection program. Sad man? Guilty man is the correct term. And release him for time served? Does Frank Black get to be released for time served? No. Alan should rot in hell for his actions.
I'm sorry you feel the way you do. I would like to point out that many individuals who were convicted of crimes, including murder, and who we all believed were guilty, have been freed because in truth, they were "not guilty". There are many facts and circumstances in this case which would point to Alan being innocent, perhaps its not fair that you may not know the facts and the man as I do. Remember "It is better for a thousand guilty men to go free then to have one innocent man sit in jail"
@kwar100 a single man went to witness protection, and what a way to get 400 thousand dollars more then you wanted for your house, I bet the government would not blow that kind of money now. You know the truth kid.
Message from the songwriter: Many people have talked to me about this song and have asked me why? The few who know the background about this song, this story and this case know in truth, that it actually is a sad song, about a sad story and a sad case. The powers that be who wrongly convicted this innocent man are the true criminals. May they rot in hell.
The problem that lies here is that any government official who knows what really went on in this case runs the risk of disappearing mysteriously in the deep blue sea!
Alan told Scott without a body or the dumb bell ( the probable murder weapon) they can not hold her (Lisa Costello)" Maybe he should have been more persistant.
March 1996 Scott Devito was pulled into a blue car by fbi and state police after 20 minutes agent asked him if Lisa Costello killed Frank Black, " why did he (Alan Mackerley) not say anything?", I said "because he would just smoke his cigarette and blow it in your face". The State Policeman (who was in the car with him) said sarcastically "He is not smoking in a Florida prison now !", and laughed
A prison cell is now my new home No more freedom to roam Taking everything day by day The only thing left to do is hope & pray Maybe some day the real criminal will meet their fate Wrongfully convicted & having a lot of hate Pushed through the system so they can close the case Innocent as hell, I shouldn't be here in the 1st place Maybe they'll realize they made a mistake Hopefully some day when I awake I will hear I'm a free man That would be GREAT

how can you tell a JURY that you are guilty when you know in your heart that you are innocent?

One thing we know about this case is we don't know what happened, I believe this guy is innocent .
