What worries me is that it's Atari... case in point - Alone in the Dark. It was supposed to be so imersive, so innovative, and it was a piece of crap...which is fine... but blowing our one shot at a decent Ghostbusters game? RIP Atari.

Fuck that !!!!! Authenticity damn it!!!!! Original cast voice overs Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson. Great game play with authentic voice overs = perfect video game movie adaptation.

Ramis and Aykroyd wrote the script and story for it... so bitches... at the very least I'm buying this for the story... the gameplay looks to be half decent so far ( and the graphics will be ridiculous on PS3's engine)... And games like Destroy All Humans are short and simple but fucking fun as hell

Truth, unless maybe when the voice is so distinctive it would be impossible to find a suitable replacement (Example: Jean-Luc Picard - I don't know of anyone who ca do his voice properly). Otherwise, the video game industry would actually be better served by trying to promote 'unknown' voice actors who can still do great jobs.

It was cancelled for a while because the studio was closed but atari recently picked it up. It is supposed to come out in late April if I remember right.
