1) Ron Paul gets into office and literally saves the United States of America.
2) Ron Paul doesn't win, and people revolt with force.

The original constitution minus the bill of rights isn't for individual liberty. It's for a strong collective union that can suppress insurrection. Only the Bill of Rights actually protects the individual.
