Mets fans know how to get to shea by train and nassau is close to queens and some areas in suffolk are only a half hour away. Queens would also bring more media to the Islanders. I have been doing a lot of thinking about my islanders and i have come to the conclusion that even though the owner is a horrible man and the organization is in shambles, it's the logo, the history, and the franchise i love. i am allowed to hate management (i have for the past 15 years), but i can't confuse management with the organization as a whole.
That guy is right, they are ruining John Tavares and Josh Bailey by not playing them with anyone legitimate. No good veterans. The Islanders have a lot of young talent coming in and will have a top 2 pick this season, but it will mean nothing if they cant sign a top 6 forward and a few good players to help these kids.
