I learn german is the person @ the start swiss?? cos they don't sound German or Austrain, cos they speak german but they sound french. This comes from someone who is better at her 2nd language than her 1st.

I was really glad I learnt German at school. I went to rural Czech Republic recently and the only foreign language most of the waiters knew was German. Doesn't help with Dutch though - I'm not very good.
