Can somebody who works for the London underground do me a favour?
I think those mind the gap souvenirs are getting boring and I am looking for the real thing.
Is there somebody from the London Underground who can arrange a window seal that has been used by the 1995 or 1996 Stock tube train for me? I like to collect it for my public transport collection.
Thank you very much.
Sorry if my English is not perfect, that is because I live in Holland.
However, if it wasn't for the threat of unions striking every time a bolt was inserted into a wall and the hoops needed to jump through dictated by the LUL. I feel a lot more money could be saved and better infrastructure installed as a result.

I love all the comments below slating TLL. It if fairly strange though that there is a Tube strike at the moment and the only lines operating a normal service are JNP lines. Yes, a lot of money is wasted on improving the network and bringing it in line with the necessary standards due to the lack of investment by LUL in the past.
Meh, TBH I'm personally not bothered about the upgrade works. They may not be perfect, but remember that the lines and the rest of the tube system needs this otherwise it could fall apart, and that's no good. =(
They're preserving the heritage of the older stations, which is good thing. But I disagree with those DMI with annoucements, but I guess they are there for a reason.
And no, it's not just the 1995ts that are the problem, the rest of the LU fleet break down sometimes, no?
Ah so that means they are responsible for installing an unnecessary new automatic pa system ie "The train now approaching is to high barnet" Yet it never turns up or the train states somewhere else hmmm.
As for maintenance hah, I have been on a few 1995 stock trains now with defective saloon screens, and some of the compressors sound like they are struggling to work!
And don't get me started on the stations, why remove perfectly nice tiling and turn it into a bathroom!
Tube lines, boob lines.

Waterloo being the most recent example, they have gutted out the old (decent) design and replaced it with creamy tiling yuck!
And as for investing in the tube, all they do is rip Tfl off, create extra red tape and give back hardly anything.

lul should not let tubelines anywhere near their track.

I totally agree. They ruin the 1995 stock (the Northern Line trains), and cause a lot of delays!
