  • was 40. ... Nc3+ not a good idea?

  • At move 27, do you have Ba3? Idea is to decoy White's Bishop away from the f4 square, after which Nf4 forks the rooks?

Or is it very simply refuted?

  • the refutation is simply that black does not want to exchange his knight and bishop for one of whites rooks.

  • This should have been a draw at least..... That was a terrible blunder b-4??????? It was a blunder in thinking....... that this sac would actually work. Shocking end game for a WGM with over 2 minutes left.

Not TRYing to take anything from you though. Your game seemed solid.

What the hell was white thinking??? I think he realized that he messed up after the White King was dropped on d6.

Oops,..... Black is paying attention. LOL

  • Wonderful game.

  • Kingscrusher, are you any relation to IM Irina Krush?

  • 27...ng3 is interesting, as it threatens NxR+, if the rook stays on the 2nd rank, then Ne4 is strong, and if Re1, the skewer ...Bb4

  • @ 5:06 28...Nf4 forks Queen and both Rooks!

  • f4 is covered by the bishop on c1

  • Yes, but White would just remove the knight with her bishop!

  • Temporarily, until black plays B x f4

  • bishop takes it

  • Very well played! An exciting middlegame and then you outplayed in the ending too.

  • agreed

  • Crush!

  • You played very many moves Rybkas first choice, thats really good

  • 52...Ne5+ sometimes Knights can be knight forked :-D

  • great game very tactical

  • Good game. 40... Nc3 check would have been good...Cheers...

  • Great game against a WGM!

  • good game. was a little disappointed when the last special peice was a knight =(

  • at 3:01 i would have played d4 forking his queen and knight

  • if black plays e4 forking queen and knight, then the white rook just takes it back.

  • oh .. yeah.. right.....

well i still suck badly i'm trying to learn

  • at 3:01 maybe take f2 with knight:

    Nxf2, attacking queen, Rxf2, Bxf2!, Kxf2, e4

and i think that is a pretty good position

  • Qe3 and white got advantage

  • Sorry for multiple comments, my computer lags a lot...

  • he played Re2 protecting the f2 pawn, couldn't you have played Nxf2 Rxf2 Qb6 winning the exchange?

  • At one point, after

  • #40-Nc3 +

  • good job

  • excelente win

  • Well done KC!
