  • SINGAPORE FOREVER!!!!!! <3

  • Seriously,I don't care what people have against Singapore.I believe there is justice in Singapore. We are far off better than countries like China and Af

  • This is so Asian!

  • I WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH THE FLOOR

  • I'm soooo proud to be a Singaporean! To those who hate Singapore, GO TO HELL!!!

  • stop imitating the west and hav sum uniqueness and talent...crap

  • born, bred, raised and proudly singaporean. and living overseas makes me realise how much i really love and appreciate what singapore offers.

  • @butterflye2020 if u keep commenting lyk tat y u watch dis video? And yes I do agree that Singapore has strict laws but it has it for a reason. And plz do not reply. And plz do not comment on dis video. Thank you and no offense. ~fantagezone

  • instead of using this song, they use a rip-off from a lady gaga song and call it creative! this one is NOT that one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @mildlad I agree. While the idea of the Fun Pack Song was good, it was a pity they used the wrong song! They should now use this song during the prologue section of the NDP. How more meaningful can you get? Besides, what better way is there to encourage Singaporeans to write their own catchy song about Singapore than to showcase this one?

  • Only SINGAPOREANS really understand this song...suddenly rem : there was a time when people said that Singapore won't make it, but we DID!!! Thumbs up to e pax who writes e lyrics

  • Singapore is the bizarre police state run as a corporation, rather than a country; Its people once referred to as digits by the Hitler of Asia-- LKY. It lacks the foundation that every real society is based upon-that of basic human rights. Singapore is the land ruled with fear, torture and death and where its people have been brainwashed with sadistic violence, truly infecting the masses, and becoming the norm. Singapore: the city without a soul.

  • Where can you find two temples, with a church right inbetween... LOL!

  • wow! what a nice song!! though I'm from Philippines, I'm very much appreciated with the song...

  • Ann Hussein is our veteran singer. Concentrate on the song and the lyrics and you'll love it. For those who use this platform for political bickering, let me say this. If you don't like the law of this country, go get lost.

  • gj

good job!! (Y) love this :D

  • Pretty Good. Nothing like this since Dick Lee's Fried Rice Paradise. I can tell the composer is not entry Level, the cord progression, lyrics isn't irky. Nice twang. Well done.

  • Slippers outside the door... CLASSIC xD

  • @butterflye2020 You do realise that most Singaporeans don't really care about those stuff since we rarely commit any crimes right?

  • and the caning... apparently you love it

  • this song makes me miss u so much, singapore and my dear english teachers, especially is Miss Phayyen, who teach us to dance and sing this song

  • i love singapore!

  • I like this song so much :D

  • SINGAPORE

Famous for FLOGGING.(And the mandatory death penalty) How sad that this is the coldblooded reputation of this place. Physical violence toward males is written into the laws of Singapore. Corporations should leave, International students should go home, and visitors and tourists should stay away because this torture is what this third world government is all about. UN sanctions are needed. Disgusting!!

  • @ butterflye2020: well you must spend your free time typing stuff like these above for all the random videos of most of the countries too. you speak as if the death penalty is unique to and rampant in spore. how ridiculous a notion. since you hint at unjustified laws, i say laws are made with reason and made clear to everyone so if ppl decides to flout them, they'd better be ready to face up to the consequences, even if it includes the death penalty. if anyone should leave, that's you. sigh.

  • @lavendye The laws of Singapore are unjust, biased and discriminate against half of the population. One set of laws for females and the other for males. This sadistic government chooses Barbaric midieval punishments for males even though the United Nations declares FLOGGING as cruel, degrading and inhuman treatment tantamount to torture. Singapore is a half assed member of the UN. and should be kicked out or sanctions agasinst it. Like Iran, N.Korea will not follow international law.

  • @lavendye The very idea of legalizing and court orderting a sexually perverted ritual whereby homo sadistic males beat and injure other naked males tied up to a trestle with a rattan whip is both unnatural, perverted, and is the stuff western S/M subculture is made of. This sickness and obsession of whipping males is so pervasive in this society it is seen starting with young children. The horror has been well documented by recipients of this cruelty.

  • @lavendye Of course the government uses mandatory beatings (for men) and the mandatory death penalty to control the population as slaves. If laws were enacted making it legal to burn women or stoning-would you then say "it is ok, it is the law?" Should someone challenge the barbarity of it?" Singapore has had the highest per capita execution rate in the WORLD. It has been and is known as "The hanging capital of the world" and "Disneyland with the death penalty." Mandatory and applied viciously.

  • @lavendye A modern civilized first world sociey cannot act in this foul manner as Singapore does without paying a heavy price. The media, films, state run newspaper are all controlled by the PAP; and censored---BUT not all of the internet is --YET!! It is one of the vehicles I choose, to help expose and warn others about Singapore and on other countries videos also. Singaporeans are oppressed but there are brave and courageous Singaporeans that dont agree with the injustice in Singapore.

  • @butterflye2020 talk abt long-winded...

r you a guy, by the way?

  • @Raine1902 Today is International Human Rights Day. In Singapore it means very little--because of the constant Human Rights Violations and those that choose to ignore cruelty and brutality--whether it is the disgusting Floggings of males made law by the criminal government, or the horrendous mandatory death penalty. This comment is short ---and you haven't seen "long winded" yet.

  • I feel that your comment are downright unreasonable and disgusting !! I grew up in Singapore and am very proud of my country. I belong to a minority race, and feel that I have been given a fair deal. Because of our strict laws, this IS a safe country. Do you prefer to live in other countries where 'democracy' is practised but where many things are wrong !! I have travelled the world over and always thank God that I can return to MY Country Singapore.

  • @puspalm50 Evil institutions in backward countries such as slavery and apartheid, and the institution of Flogging (caning) have been abolished worldwide. But, the third world government of Singapore continues atrocities against males court ordering thousands to be tortured annually. Laws may be strict without this perverted gender violence, and without requiring physical assault be used upon human beings. Yes I advocate freedom and democracy. You thank God,,,and I PRAY to God to stop this horror

  • @butterflye2020 I'm a Singaporean Permanent Resident, and I fail to see what exactly is wrong about Singapore's laws. They are strict, and intended to be so to discourage people from breaking the laws. In Singapore, you can walk alone in the dark and not have to worry about being mugged in the streets, but you can't say the same about places such as America or England. I have lived in both places mentioned previously, and would still prefer Singapore over either of them.

  • @kuaispeed You may indeed fail to see that which is evil. In fact there are those in America and England that are sadists that will certainly agree with you. I absolutely believe in strict laws, but NOT draconian archaic medieval unjust and discriminatory laws. You may walk alone safely on the streets of Hong Kong, in Japan, or Switzerland and many other places on this earth that do not resort to the barbarity that the Singapore government does. Singapore must stop its crimes against humanity.

  • @butterflye2020

May I inquire of some of these draconian archaic medieval unjust acts/laws that you mentioned? Also mention these crimes against humanity you speak of. Such strong words need justified proof and I would be glad to hear them. Otherwise I would just treat them as yet another commentor's random unsupported and biased comment. Thank you.

  • My Singaporean friends have been discussing with me and my mates recently, "What exactly makes a Singaporean a Singaporean?" You may voice your views if you want. We came with a few assumptions of racial coexistence, durian-tolerant abilities and racial unison. You may vote to see which one makes the most sense. You do the thinking, we do the end survey assumption.

  • 0:33 Oh my god that army soldier's teaching a child the usage of firearms! Worse off, it's a sniper rifle! If I knew better, i would have loved to be born here.

  • cool song!!!

  • Happy 44th Birthday , Singapore! :) May this and next year be a very porperous year for all of us! :)

  • Dear jims642.

We all have our discomforts or complains but that does not mean our dearest motherland is the one to blame.

We are born here. This is our land. A land where we welcome those who are willing to make themselves Singaporean no matter what race, creed or nation they come from. Singaporeans dont smile and chat in trains too my brother. Remember the first people here are orang lauts. Then friends from far far away came and together we build Singapore. Our land. Happy birthday dear.

  • I see...

not being able to see the parade cause i have 3 exams on thurs. srsly.

oh well, i still love singapore though(:

we are not THAT screwed up!

    cheers(:

  • not bad,singapore rocks.

  • Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!

  • I see... no role of me to participate in national making as a common citizen. If I am not a scholar, or someone related to the Government, I am just a number.

I see... Singapore is runned like a company, not a country.

I see... common people confused about the real future of Singapore.

    I see... more bad years...

  • "What Do I See" Official NDP Song?:

I see..... myself packed into MRT trains like a sardine can, together with Indian, Filipino and Chinese nationals who are not interested to smile or chat with me.

I see... living costs rising fast but my pay dropping faster.

I see... more old folks toiling in the streets which they helped to build.

  • this song rocks gt the uniquely singaporean taste =D

nt like the what do you see okok nia

  • yay Happy Birthday Singapore!

    great song! (:

  • to Singapore Happy 44th BIRTHDAY!!!! =X i love to be a singaporean

  • Great video! I am so proud to be a Singaporean! Happy 44th Birthday Singapore!

  • It's quite funny,

  • lol

    quiet funny

  • This has more of the "Singaporean" feel in it.Den the "what do you see"."What do you see" sounds so weird-totally.

  • this song is last year created de .

  • i agree that this song is more 'singapore' and more catchy( to primary school kids i think).

But let's face it, the lyrics are not appropriate for it to be a NDP song. It's too informal, and also negates Singapore in a way. Nice song though.

  • i agree this song is much better than "What Do You See", it has the more "Singaporean" feel.

  • lols haha

  • eeee... quirky but not appropriate for a NDP song.. too hard to sing alr. too much to memorise 2

  • it's rather popular in primary sch as primary sch is the only time when they project the lyrics on the screen and the whole sch sing along.. they should do it in secondary and college too

  • Rather popular with primary school kids.

  • lol. this is 100% old. Jurong Point has been renovated and does not look like this anymore.

  • why government so stingy 1 no let us make the song be4 all the theme they make 1 and y the **** dun haf a web to let us vote

  • OMG!this song is so much more better than the theme song this year!!!haha

  • Heard this in school just now (:

  • Heard this in school today it rocks so much that it doesn't get old!

  • LMAO this song is so random!!!

use ur tissue to 'chope' ur seat

    slippers outside the door

    lmao XD

  • Go Singapore! : D

  • i love this song...Makes me proud and thankful to be singaporean.

  • i also wanted this to be this year... but they did not... but they did show students the clip! :D

  • Wow! Luv this!!!! I jus now watch in sch and everyone laugh when we see the durian and merlion!!!! Tis should be the main ndp song

  • This song was played just now in school!!! We all laughed when she said use tissues to 'chope' our seat!!!! It's so true!! Haha

  • I'm very PROUD of myself to be a Singaporean!!!

  • i just watch this at school

half-daythis should be this year's song but they think it is so simple so they choose what do you see

  • This should be this year Ndp song (;

  • totaaly. i like electrico, but an indie rock song is SO NOT suitable for NDP.

  • I just watched this today at school DX The song is very true. I kinda lost it when it said, '...durians that keep the Merlion company' XD Humorous yet touching~

  • Nice song. Love IT :D

  • Love Love Singapore Always!!
