  • Nice Kata! I just learned this one... good tempo and pace.

  • To the performer of this kata. Try to better maintain the height of your tanden during the kata. Besides being a signature of the Chito-Ryu style of karate, maintaining strict control of tanden height will increase your balance, speed, power, and add an overall sharper more focused ingredient to any kihon/kata. Keep up the good work by promoting Chito-Ryu kihon/kata on the web. Domo Arigato Gozimasu.

  • très bon kata Stéphane !

Je ne délaisserai cependant pas le shorinjiryu pour le chito-ryu. Personellement je préfère de loin les katas plus "dynamiques".

    A la prochaine ! :)

  • I noticed now the similarities between this kata the Useishi/Gojushiho kata.

  • I never sen this version of Sanseiru kata before, but nice performance. I'm practicing the Goju-ryu version of Sanseiru.

  • The Chito-ryu Sanshiryu isn't actually a version of Sanseiru/Sanshiru at all. It is actually the Chito-ryu version of Gojushiho, which isn't from a Goju line or any of the Naha lines of karate, but a Shorin line.

Just take a look at a Shorin-ryu practitioner doing gojushiho to see the similarities.

  • Ooooh I see.

  • Tres beau kata!

  • Merci beaucoup! Je l'aime bien.
