For the first couple of levels, you have to destroy the blue crates using grenades as the primary mission. The secondary mission is to sentence of arrest all perps (enemies). You can check your mission status by logging onto one of the computer terminals by pressing up when in front of one.
yes they did.i see the similarities and can asure you that this is better on genesis then on snes why?,demolition man on genesis made the snes version look and sound like a 2 year old that one was 2x as fast and the music was so much better,if the same ritual was caried on for this game then this will also be better.the snes it soundchip is good and but at times it makes music sound like shit with it's muffled samples.
not to piss all over the snes but music wise it's so in between it's not better then the genesis and it doesn't handle arcade music well killer instinc mortal combat and some while favored have that flat sounding guitar synth, yes the sound is better the genesis but the compostion is way worser.super rtype 3 vs thunder force both rock oriented while at a lesser quality with tf you get the idea of real guitar shredding while on snes you can hear it's all keys cause it sound so damn slow.
i can't really stand the snes it's samples,it has something to do with the ram in the snes and the cpu not letting the soundchip do what it suposed to do,it's like a good soundchip crippled by the hardware.some slower track like dkc come of beutifull but faster oriented track sound like rubbish or fuzzie.genesis while more primitive actually shines above you can here what a instrument is doing instead of 10 instruments blanded into a mess on snes.
@aryinc please, are you kidding? This sounds like a mess, SNES generally has way better game soundtracks, not to shit on your cereal but this fucking blows compared to the SNES soundtrack.
this doesn't sound as demolition man but it's not crap,it's sounds thin i think, yeah maybe yuo're right but is this really a game to judge dread from ;).the movie wasn't spectecular neither is this game.demolition man on genesis domeinates the snes one tommy did a better job on geness with demo man serious the snes version of demo man sucks major balls, the famous muff is heard in that snes version.
i remember this game like it was yesterday... i borrowed to a friend but i had to return the game the next morning, the stupid thing is...i was going to buy the game and i bought fucking warlock -_- shame on me
If you are reffering to the 3-button version of the genesis controller, then yes the controls aren't as good. The game required a 6-button version of the genesis controller. I never played the SNES version however, so I'm not 100% sure if the controls are just as good as the SNES version
Nah, I don't mean that. I always play my Mega Drive with 6 button pads. What i mean is actual gameplay differences. There's this article on Hardcore Gaming 101 stating how the MD version gameplay isn't as good as the SNES one (even both versions are essentially the same game) because of some tweaked controlling issues (jumping and else) and I wanted to check if it's true and if it's really that bad (never played this game, but caught some interest and wanted to know beforehand).
same with demolition man the genesis shined above the snes in the music department the snes used slow wussifed samples while the genesis made use of fater and clearer instrumenets,on the genesis version you can hear the song on the snes version of demo man it's hard to tell if there's a melody in the songs.

Definitely better music in the Genesis version, flip over to the Snes version and it just doesn't have the same impact.

Same here. I could never beat the Gila Munja boss (The little dude riding on the fire- breathing tiger thing from the mission after you beat Rico).

I can drop that guy, but it's always chance. Just the other day I managed to kill him, but today, I freaking lost to it.
BTW. I love this version's music. The songs are pretty much the same, but the SNES versions music sounds so...wussifed.

there's a way you could get to the Level Select mode, but it's a dangerous process in order to do so.
