if you cant speak the language go back to ubuntu, where you were born and are from...dont ruin other peoples projects by trying to assimilate them intentional or not.
@trancaothai you get ONLY what you want nothing else that's the difference... it ends up being faster if you don't bloat it. i prefer somewhat bloated distros because they come with all the stuff i would put on anyway.... :P

arch sucks. An OS which is so hard to even install can never succeed among regular people. Besides, there're easier and better OSs like ubuntu. Its very well supprted, much better than arch and also has many more software packages made for it. Of course windows beats them both in all departments except the open source code and price(which is free for ubuntu/arch).
so you whine and complain and try to ruin other peoples projects when you should of just installed ubuntu if you didnt want to do all the stuff needed for arch linux.....

ARCH LINUX IS THE BIGGEST CRAP ON EARTH; NOTHING WORKS ON THIS SHIT SYSTEM, PLEASE DONT SUPPORT LINUX STUFF SHIT; ITS ALL CRAP. MY WHOLE COMPUTER IS RUINED, i'm SO MAD!
@felziusz Actually i prefer ppl to start with linux mint just because it comes with everything you NEED eg wireless, codecs, drivers, um SOFTWARE REVIEWS --- ubuntu JUST got this um what else o it has a nice green theme too
@cenking Don't be an idiot. That's like saying that your manual car is shit because you forgot to use the clutch, and now it doesn't shift gears and therefore is SHIT and CRAP and RUINED. Linux doesn't need your support; learn where Microsoft and Macintosh have their roots if you think this LINUX STUFF is SHIT.
thanks for the tutorial, obviously there are discrepancies with new live cd. i.e. new one wants a separate /boot filesystem. Do you just make a partition for boot?
when I get to the screen where I set the partition to use as swap, it only gives me the option to choose NONE or sda1, even though I set up the sda2 partition in the previous screen.
Thanks man. I couldn't get past the cfdisk part on my install. I'm doing it on an old dell. I've never used cfdisk, but I'm sick of using Ubuntu, I wanted something more challenging. Thanks again.
Coming with lots of wifi drivers + ndiswrapper = EPIC WIN, I really want to try it now.
Btw, for the audio lag, I found out it usually has to do with the power of your sound card. i.e., it may not be able to keep up recording at 44.1 KHz, etc
I have installed, but i got problem with password.I can not log in after rebooting the system.Anybody knows what is the problem?

The "u" symbol in uTorrent is not a u but it stands for micro. So it's MicroTorrent.

@cenking Arch is not for beginners... If you aren't a pro(you don't know what you do) pls do not try to install it!
You was the fool :)
If you like to try linux begin with Ubuntu. ;)
