  • what unit r u with

  • na niemand deutsch hihi

  • retard

  • Did* and nice gear

  • Where rid you get the k98 rounds

  • Great looking uniform, do you have a video of your most recent one?

I love FJ gear and history. I play as a Fallschirmjäger at Oklahoma DDAY, world's largest paintball game, every year. But I don't have any kick ass gear like this!

  • Where's your Fallshirmjager Gewehr 42?

  • yo mat ive got the M38 helmet my head is about a 57 and the the liner is apprently a 59 do u know how to stretch the leather liner at all ?

  • Great clip; I especialy like the detail such as the rifle cleaning kit at ted. Keep them coming ! Well done and regards.

  • Nice gear..Im putting together a Heer infantryman and Heer Panzer. Nice to see a non Waffen-SS.

  • what about the blue uniform

  • Where do you get most of your gear?

  • didn't all luftwaffe personel wear brown leather belts and y straps?

  • @ronaldweasleyfan55 Mainly Luftwaffe airfield guards managed to get all brown gear, or those closer to the supply chain. Since FJ were skirmishers and sometimes far from the main supply chain, they were often issued Wehrmacht equipment.

  • @Stugace I only ask because my friend is starting a FJ unit and i need to make sure everything is authentic

  • Wo ist deine spaten? where is your E-tool? Im SS Abtl 9. Hohenstaufen. so idk the FJ impression very well but im guessing they too were issued Spaten, right?

  • @edttex

Yes, but they often did not carry as much gear as the regular infantry into combat, so they could remain lightweight.

  • This kit rocks.

When you use the Y-strap, do you have to use 3 D-rings to fasten the strap to the belt?

  • @Stordongen I have tried several ways on fastening the Y-strap, and I've found the most common historical way seems to be the use of 2 D-rings in the front and direct attachment to the equipment belt in the back. (It's also the most comfortable way to do it for me). However larger guys sometimes use a D-ring in the back as well. I've found that when I hook a ring in the back, it has a stronger tendency to unclip itself.

  • @Stugace Thanks for the reply.

I am asking because I`m building my own fallschirmjäger-kit this summer. My experience so far is that without D-rings the Y-strap often falls off when I run and play jäger.

  • @Stordongen The Y-strap annoys me so much I often go light-weight and carry only a pistol and breadbag on my belt, and have everything else in my pockets, gas mask bag, and bandoleer. If you look at pictures of real FJ you often see the same thing. I feel that Y-strap malfunctions were common back then too. You just have to tighten everything till its uncomfortable, bend the Y-strap hooks, and hope it all stays put.

  • Did the fallschirmjägers used the normal fliegerbluse under the jump smock or did they were issued with some kind of para blouson? Nice gear, i am fallschirmjäger collector as well

  • @Raivaussaha0 Depending on weather of course, the normal order of jackets goes as follows: Service Shirt, Fliegerbluse, then the jump smock.

  • you have some amazing gar dude i am a huge fan of wwii german and american paratroopers/falshimjager

  • hey nice gear man. but can i ask how much an fj bandolier would cost around?

  • well done,

if you are ever looking for a fg42 gun ( i think the german paratroopers/fallshirmjager used them)

there is a website called the history bunker limited that can do real firing or de activated.

thanks for sharing your great vids!!

    alex,

  • very good Fallschirmjäger

  • where did you find your gear ?

    SOF ?

    Spearheadmilitaria ?

    ..

I'm trying to set this kind of uniform with splinterB, fliegerbluse...

  • I got my Splinter B smock from AtTheFront, as well as a bunch of other stuff. LostBattalions too.

  • Have you got a sidearm?

  • Yes, a reproduction walther p38. I plan on getting a real one soon.

  • I guess thats the good thing about america. You can buy real guns. Im stuck with my repro Luger P.08

  • Good news. 2 years later, my hair is shorter than ever :P

  • fallschirmjäger uniform of ww2 looks just cool. maybe watch the newsreel(wochenschau) bout crete on youtoube...

  • du wärst wohl auch unter den ersten spasten die bei so ner scheiße wieder mitmachen würden. so leute wie du die sich an dem zeug von damals auch noch so aufgeilen sind echt eine schande für die menschheit.

  • cool i reenact ww2 also!! Im a soviet partisan and i also have a french resistance impression as well

  • Ahh I've been looking at Mosin Nagants recently. Do you have one?

  • yes i do, 91/30, i refinished the stock to make it look more brand new. I got it for about $100

  • Why the sound has been disable??? Wich law has been broken with this video? Talking about german soldier in WW2? Pfff....

  • Apparently my music choice had a copyright and people are afraid someone will steal it from youtube or something.

  • Are there hardcores and progressive reenactors in World War II reenacting like there is in Civil War?

  • Yep. There are all kinds. I personally enjoy it because its like a big ol' camping trip.. with rifles and tanks :)

  • are you doing reanecting if you do that how much does a k98 cost

  • COol stuff man .

  • hmm that jumping smock...seems british

  • Definitely German.

  • Cool stuff man. I collect 101st airborne gear and military items of ww2 and looking to start a basic east german impression for movies.

  • fallschrimjäger

    smock.

  • I can't get noice because of WMG? WTF

  • Fuck you WMG

  • I agree.

  • I agree too

  • Very well done. I would like to see you do the same for Whermacht and/or Waffen SS equipment configurations, since I'm into modeling and 12" historical WWII German figures. Cheers.

  • I am actually planning on getting a British infantryman uniform someday, to go with the enfield I have lying about. :)

I like a lot of the Brit stuff almost as much as the German.

  • Ya collecing is fun. My grandad was in the german army and he gave me his (hj) uniform from whene he was in the youth and he gave me his M-36 uniform and his field gear. what was ur fav german uniform?? along with the Fallschirmjäger uniform... my fave is the panzer rap and the m-36....

  • where do u get the uniforms man..please tell me..i'm subscribing ur video BTW

  • the brits had some good stuff. actrully really good stuph. i just faver the german cuzz of me granda. sorry for the long responce. been busy.lol. where do you buy ur gear from?

  • Most of my gear is reproduction since actual uniforms typically do not fit and also are very expensive. Some of my field gear is real, and my rifle is all genuine. I got my uniform from various sites online, from the advice of reenactors, and I got my rifle and some of my equipment personally as I travel.

  • being from outside the US it is too hard/expensive to get any equiptment for re-enactment/collecting. The only stuff on ebay are chinese repros. such a shame.

  • Are you wearing a Y frame? If so, does it go over your jump smock?

  • Why he's wearing Y Straps? To hold up his equipment, and because they're damn sexy. :D Yes, they do go over your jump smock.

Stug, beautiful gear, very nice collection. Make sure to keep us posted if you get more.

  • Sure thing. New one coming very soon buddy :). Make sure to subscribe if you haven't.

  • were do you reenact

  • dont hurt yourself with the knife kiddy

  • Thanks for the advice, son.

  • I always wondered what those pointy things where for.

  • i always liked the step in smock better that the long one :P

i've got all luftwaffe ground forces gear an i might get a fallshiy helmet just to pass of as them :)

  • hi i just got a german belt for my buckle and im a bit stumped on how to fasten it could some 1 tell me plz

  • Gute Repros mehr aber auch nich!

  • al original

  • are you getting decals for your helmet

  • why arnt you belt and suspenders brown

  • Fallschirmjager were not often provided with luftwaffe gear, but instead normal Wehrmacht gear. Thus why my gear is a mix.

  • thanks im not sure what branch of the germans i want to do yet

    heer

    ss

    fallschirmager

    luffawfa

    ss paras

    heer paras

    its driving me nuts

  • i liked this gear better than the panzer rap gear for tankers. well good show. WaffenSStiger131

  • No offense taken. I like jewish people, lol. I have friends from all backgrounds and quite frankly I don't care what anyone believes in, we're all people. If I look jewish to you, cool! But I'm not jewish.

  • I really should update this. Even though I havent gotten anything more.. my hair is bothering me.

  • Eh? lol

If you are saying I look jewish, alright. Maybe. But I feel I look more German than anything. :)

  • Nice vid and great gear!

What's the name of the of the music playing in the latter half of the vid? It's pretty good!

  • Oh man, working on my memory..

Its Hans Zimmer music from one of the movies he did.. maybe even Pearl Harbor.

  • good for you on being a fallschrimjager. us allied reenactors need more targets haha.

  • I became one because there are already plenty of targets on your side :P

  • haha so true

  • i actually want to do a fallschirm impression. where doo you reccomend i get my gear?

  • I forget where all my gear came from - some of it is original, a lot of it is repro.. there are a lot of bad repros, but according to some FJ reenactors I got some of the best. (They helped me find it.) As a hint, do NOT get gear from Ebay. There are plenty of sites that sell this stuff. Just wish I remember which ones.

  • thats too bad. what stuff is original

  • Canteen, Bayonet, Rifle, Cleaning Rod, Cleaning Kit, Flashlight... some other small things I can't quite remember. I buy replica equipment because it is MUCH cheaper than the old stuff (and more likely to fit a 6'1" individual).

  • 6'1" wow.

  • is that rifle real if so nice

  • Yep, its real.

  • I gotta say, reading some older comments regarding E.G. "get stg its good for FJ" or such or even "Fjs didnt use X", I wonder how many of you people realize that practically the most major weapons for the german army were Mausers (K98ks to be exact) and MG34 and '42. Especially when the machinegun was the most important thing in the squad, instead of rifes. Practicaly one migth say that MG did all the mainstream job and riflemen just protected MG'er(s)

Quite nice set you have there though.

  • Kudos on this, kinda sick of the FG42/Stg44 comments! Though they are cool weapons, they are expensive and historically innaccurate for the most part.. though some FJ did get some of these, it was mostly rifles as it was in every branch.

  • Nice work dude, I am also a renactor. Love all the equipment.I do W/SS also FJ. Next time can you please use more light for your filming.keep up the good work Please dont listen to negative people at least you did this. Thanks

  • Where did you get you K98'?

  • Gander Mountain, used weapons rack for 250$ ;) Lucky me.

  • cool way to show off ur gear. I think ill do the same with my russian gear, if u dont mind

  • Go ahead, I copied off of a Waffen SS guy actually ;)

  • damn dude took long enough lol, here go to my profile and check out the vid of my gear.

  • FJ's are wicked, but you are a fruit

  • Thank you.

  • I only see one fault here.

    Your Hair Cut :P

    I Do Reenactment My self.

    LSSAH.

  • Its shorter now.. this is an old vid. Then again, I have no time for reenacting now unfortunately :(

  • y is the cleaning rod so small?

    and nice Mauser,

  • It was designed to screw onto other cleaning rods, usually one or two more, to make a full cleaning rod.. so basically, you borrowed from your friends. They also made a cleaning 'chain' which was more commonly used, but was basically a small chain with a fitting for a cleaning swab, so you could just drop the chain in and pull it through.. and Fertig!

  • Great stuff - I really liked the detail with the Bandolier, Belt Buckle, and Smock with the various pockects - and the Cleaning Kit, plus the Rifle detail ( like the Cleaning Rod ). Excellent !!! Regards.

  • This is awesome, I added it to favorites.

I want one with Waffen SS uniforms, Camo and other speacial gear they had. - They recieved the very latest equipment.

  • i thought they used the Fg44 or 43 ,cant remember which

  • Actually a rare weapon, only a few thousand made. They used mainly kar98s and mp40s, later on mp44s here and there. Really depends on the region and regiment.

  • wait never mind

    XD

  • where did u get the kar-98 shells?

    weather there real or not

  • What a waste they jumped like once cause they got slaughtered in Grece lol

  • They also jumped into Crete, but lost most of their weapons to the british since they dropped their primary weapons (lmgs, rifles, etc) in seperate crates. - So they took over Crete with only pistols and knives, and captured weapons. They won, but they had such a high casualty rate that they decided it wasn't worth it again. - But they were some of the best trained soldiers of the time!

  • Where did you get this gear? What website

  • Right now I'm collecting U.S Army Airborne Gear. But american weapons COST SO MUCH MONEY. Airsoft M1 Garand- $498 bucks.

After I collect my U.S airborne gear. I will be referring to ur video about the german fallschirmjager gear. Then I can have both uniforms of both sides!

  • Real M1 = $1000+ at times - that airsoft is cheap :P Think Springfields are cheaper though. - I considered airsoft, but like the 'bang' of blanks better ;)

  • Cheap? Are you rich or something?

  • Naw - I'm just saying that airsoft M1 is cheap compared to the real one

  • Oh yeah that is cheap to a real m1. Theres an m1 for sale for 475.00 bucks. I might get it, but a 400 buck m1 garand........seems like a rip off

  • Song?

  • Oh Fortuna is the first one - forgot what the others were.. think its listed somewhere in these comments.

  • Where did you find K98k with bayonet lug? Is it repro or original?

  • All kar98ks have Bayonet lugs. The lug is inbetween the barrel and the cleaning rod.

  • I would have to disagree with you there, all ORIGINAL Kar98k's have lugs. Most repro's, like the crap made in china have them removed. This was done for that arms ban in 1987 which saw lugs as grounds for an assault weapon. I know yours is an original, because of all the scuffs and scratches in it. Nice find, you're lucky. Although your bayonet doesnt look authentic, is it?

  • Its real, but was like the russian kar98ks - it was disassembled when captured and rebuilt using parts from several knives - most numbers dont match.

  • thanks for the rapid response. I have 2 kar98k bayonets. One is the Bakelite type, similar to the one you have but terribly rusty and serials dont match. The 2nd is a wood handled Solingen model, serials do match, and estimated in the early 1930's. However, the hinge clip in the handle is missing and the handle's wood is badly damaged. Case and blade are fine, and oiled regulary. I wish i could get a Kar98k. But in Canada, a gun automatically makes you a criminal, or so it seems.

  • Late war K98 Mausers did not have the bayonet lug. Just throwing that out.

  • cool stuff man

  • all equiptment=from hong kong

  • all equipment = made in Germany or America (made sure of it)

    Some of it is original.

  • Fallschirmjäger was a division under luftwaffe

  • may i ask if you do any reenacting. i am a vietnam reenacter on FT Knox Ky. if you ever heard of the Patoon museum

  • You need a fucking haircut

  • is that a re-enactors uniform

  • cut your hair u need a number 2 in sides mimimum!

  • Where did you et your k98 from because i tried used weapons rack but i couldn't find the right website?

  • Mal ehrlich ist das net ein bisschen übertriben sich ne komplette uniform zu hohlen und damit anzugeben ?

  • Need a haircut to make the impression complete!

  • I like what you have done. The music was perfect for your presentation.

Thanks for sharing and doing a fine job of showing.

  • hi stugace;

Thanks for your email. An old tyrolian proverb says " Mit reden kommen die Leute zusammen!"

I know now you personal relation to that theme and i respect it.

    Best wishes

    flowerdevil

  • part 2

    3. BUT - the way you show it, i dont like. Didnt you know that war is no KINDERSPIEL! It would be much more interesting, when you explain some details, than show us this pseudoheroic act!

In times when peopele in your age, go to school and shoot many kids, its indictutable.

Its a shame for the German Fallschirmjäger and my grandpa!

When you really respect them, make it new!!!

  • hi Stugace;

My grandfather was feldwebel from FJR3, and died on crete on 22.May 1941. My father was 5 Years old.

Later he get bombed in DRESDEN, where he lived until 1945.

    1. What you show us, is very interesting and the contition of the equipment looks excellent.

    2. You are still "jung and dumm", as we say in german and in principle its good that you are interested in history. Why fallschirmjäger?

  • nice stuff, I just did a project for school on the Fallschirmjager, they were the best of the German forces in WWII in my opinion

  • they would be right next to the SS

  • SS were fanatics, FJ's were soliders, and volunteers.

  • wow you are a kraut.....

  • hahahha nooob. baby rambo lol.

    are you gay ???

  • Very nice equipment. Where do you shop online? How hard is it to find k98's?

Where did you get that camo smock?

  • cool

  • Does anyone KNow where to get WWII german canteens??????

  • look on iternet sites m8 depends on what quallity ur after aswell

  • i got the same canteen! actually 20 of um. 20 german canteens for $20. it was a good deal.

  • because you have not

  • why not apply luftwaffe insignias to the helmet like i have.

  • very nice !

  • very cool i prefere waffen ss like azazel87

  • your mess kit is from the east german army

all the equipment is correct but i think you dont need pouches when u have bandolier

  • all this stuff and they still got smoked!

  • toribaltimore: repeat that with Vietnam in your mind. lol.

  • ahhh a NAZIST! xD

  • Well, if it is used as a squad support weapon, it is more useful on full auto.

  • @fillsbury

You're probably talking about the ZB vz.26 LMG. This was a Czechoslovak machine gun, not a German one. They were used by the Germans, though, mostly by the Waffen-SS and police forces.

The Fallschirmjäger were using the MG 34, which was the standard German LMG in that time. Later it was supposed to be replaced by the FG 42, but these were built in small numbers.

  • @fillsbury

Both the ZB and the FG 42 are rough equivalents of the BAR. Scope variants of the FG 42 existed, so that is the gun you're looking for.

  • the karabiner 98 kurtz and the mosin nagant are two of my favorite rifles

  • I realy like the helmet, where did you fingd it? Is it currently available?

  • anyone else think this guy is an obsessive psycho???

  • A hobby is a hobby. As long as he is in it for historical accuracy and not some wierd political obsession.

  • Very very nice Guy, this Video is perfect ;)

@thrillphilkult, yes the Kar98K is a standart infantery item, but "Fallschirmjäger" and other Soldiers from the Germans army use this Weapon too... I'am from Germany and my Grandpa was a German Soldier in WW2...

  • FINALLY... haha...

Did you say you were hooking up with FJ-Pionier 1? I know those guys. We've run with them in the past... I was hooked up with 5./FJR.6 myself. FJ is still the coolest, don't let anyone tell you otherwise! Also it's still not overdone, like Waffen-SS and US Airborne have become.

  • ALSO...

Good gear, but I'd lose the leather ammo pouches... most FJ didn't use them, just the bandoleer, or one or the other if you were in a late-late-war unit (where just about anything goes with the gear: regular helmets, any type of boots, maybe even a Field Division jacket instead of a jump smock). Nice webs strap on that canteen :)

  • K98's were standard in the FJ infantry squad (Gruppe), and squad leaders were ideally to carry the MP38/40 (or equivalent). Later, StG44's and FG42's might have been a replacement. FG42's were originally intended to be the replacement for the rifle, as evidenced by training photos in France.

  • Cool,cool,cool!Thanks.5 Stars

  • hey where is the posting from "DerMFFSheriff?

  • you do not have a fur Fallschirmjäger rucksack i have try getting one as they are hard to find i also collect ww2 german infantry Wehrmacht

  • Fur FJ ruck?? That's a regular infantry item, an early piece specifically.
