when foward or sideways , is not that the whole rotor tilts, its that the swashplate creates a different angle , or opposite angle on a certain path of the blades, making the helicopter tilt.
@javipons22 In fully-articulated heads, only the rotor disk tilts. But yeah, I am always disappointed by these because they never bother to explain how cyclic pitch actually works. My son is a certified mechanic and even on the FAA test, this is wrong. I don't really think we are helping people by ignoring cyclic pitch - it's actually a big part of the beauty of the thing.
Does that mean the RPM is the same always?
