He told her that "My time has not yet come" However, he changed the Divine Schedule if you will ,at his Mothers request in order to perform his First Miracle.

NO ONE in the Orthodox Church believes that the Blessed Theotokos is a way to the Father! We ask her to pray for us to our Lord,God and Saviour Jesus Christ who is the only Mediator to the Father.

We cannot know God's ESSENCE.. but we KNOW HIM through His Divine Uncreated ENERGIES, through our relationship with our Lord God and Saviour Jesus Christ and His All Good and Life Giving, Holy Spirit!

The Bible clearly tells us she prays and intercedes for humanity and that Christ honors her petitions. Read the Gospel of the Beloved John about the wedding in Cana! The Holy Apostle James also tells us that the effective fervent pray of the righteous avails much! Do you know any righteous Holy Saints? We ask the saints,both on earth and in paradise, to pray to Christ for us! The Bible clearly shows that the prayers of the saints is the incense before the throne of Christ,read revelations/isaiah

Brian you and other non catholics are so wrong on no one having the right to pray for others to intercede. I know you ask others such as your pastor/minister/brothers/siste­rs to pray for you. Correct? then you are asking them to intercede for you or others. How much more if we ask our Mother who is in Heaven to do the same.

Thank you! Well-said! As Our Lady repeatedly reminds all her children, "Do whatever He tells you." That's her one goal: to bring her spiritual children to Him Who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. God chose to come to us through her; it's fitting that we glorify God by gratefully requesting her prayers for us. She, with the boldness that only a mother could show, intercedes for us with her Divine Son. She doesn't tell Him what to do, she helps us live the phrase "Thy WIll be done..."
