  • Amazing

  • Thank you so much for uploading this! *watches 1000 times*

  • My name is Jack Woodward. I've spent the past few years churning out music as fast as possible. Most cats record an album a year and call it a day. They deliberate on the shit that they're going to do before hand and deface the initial inspiration of the music into obliteration. I try to capture it at the moment of conception. I don't question what I'm being told, I just write it down. Check out my music videos to hear the songs I conceived in this fashion.

  • god isn't in the details, he's sitting in that chair saying that God is in the details!!

that's my screenname for sondheim's sake!!

  • No matter how old and blind he gets, or vocally low, his energy and charisma is just pure magic.....

  • @robbertstoop he's blind?!

  • Really what is life without Sondheim??????? "God is in the details..." right from the horses mouth so to speak!

  • I dont know why people get deified. God is God. Even Bach is not God. Sondheim is gifted , could have chosen another genre, but didnt. He i s special i concede that. all best

  • @mclaire12 For God's sake, these are figures of speech we are talking about. We can argue until the Second Coming about which figures of speech are appropriate, but you can rest assured that, because of the INTENT of the speaker (ie: use a figure of speech!), all protests and objections will rightly be dismissed as trivial distinctions. Choose to ignore intent and context, and your protest is wasted!

  • Sondheim is wonderful and his use of modulation is superb. and i dont know why we need to question your worship or my opinion

  • I would love to see the rest of the video. Can't find the full video on the site.

  • 0:31 THE MOST EPIC STUTTER OF ALL TIME

    sondheim is the best

  • Better than Bach???

  • No. However, if you want to treat his "music" as a combination of music and lyric then I think Teezer44's exuberance is merited. Strictly speaking, of course, his lyric writing would not be included in a discussion of the music he wrote, but together I think no one touches him. He's god on this earth exactly as was the Bard of Avon.

  • @Teezer44 Perhaps not the ONLY musical Shakespeare, but definitely one of a few.
