I just got my 5hp just like this, but it seems like a lemon.
I warmed up the engine for more than 5 minutes, but when I crank up the rpm, it miss fires and the motor shakes. I can only keep the motor on low rpm.
Man.... i think i got a lemon.

Have you tryed that on a boat in the water ? How does it compare to a similar size 2 stroke ? Does it have F,N,R gearcase ?

ive got one of these and it pushes my 12ft boat pretty well. and yes it also has a forward neutral and reverse.

I like the four stroke more. Saves time not having to fix fuel and oil. It also has forward neutral and reverse.
