Looking past this we should examine how Obama's policy positions are panning out.(this is our hard evidence) One real issue to watch is whether or not Obama and the majority of Democrats are slowly falling in line behind Bush on National Security (FISA,Iraq). So can we see a stronger correlation between Obama's "political stances" or with that of his foreign policy team.

thats what sales and gas taxes are for. those taxes are fine. But the income tax theft system does not go to roads. Income tax theft goes to pay for the massive interest rate debt we owe to the federal reserve to print worthless money no longer backed up by gold and for unconstitutional social programs. Hospitals???? hospitals are not funded by taxes, hospitals are private companies unless in the rare case you find a state run hospital which would be a social theft program.

Actions speak louder than words, and McCains past voting record speaks much more loudly to me than what he says. He wants illegal alien amnesty, cap and trade, continue an illegal war, etc... Obama is a socialist, and socialism is contrary to freedom and the constitution. Any redistribution of wealth, wether through socialized healthcare or welfare or other social programs contradricts the principles of liberty.

no one is denying that people died (tho i do despute how many died) what did they die for is a more important question. Stalin commited horrible acts and deserved punishment for them, but american presidents (if to a lesser degree) have done some pretty shitty things, but we don't throw out the system. There is just as much to wonder what we could do then to get stuck on mistakes that have happened--the capitalism of the stalin days was radically different then now, so why not other things?

Looking past this we should examine how Obama's policy positions are panning out.(this is our hard evidence) One real issue to watch is whether or not Obama and the majority of Democrats are slowly falling in line behind Bush on National Security (FISA,Iraq). So can we see a stronger correlation between Obama's "political stances" or with that of his foreign policy team.

That being said, Obama's strategy is beginning to unfold as he is moving center on the political spectrum. Taking some tough advisers from the Clinton era seems like a relatively safe bet, politically, since that was a peaceful era.

This guy seems to imply that the U.S. should have a diplomatic posture that precludes the use of force. That really would be appeasement. Barack never promised radical foreign policy changes, but rather to go back to the tried and true methods of diplomatic engagement. The bigger changes will likely come in domestic policies.

Bush is a leftist with socialist tendencies because he supports stealing our money throught the income theft tax and redistributing it to people in Africa, Iraq and redistributing it to hurricane katrina folks and for welfare and social programs.
